who wants to be presents around xmas tree? You would have to be around me… so I hope you’re hot! But seriously, no need to always sit down by my snowy feet, but it would be rad if the xmas tree has some presents this year!
Please paypal $21 to peteatthebeachsd (at) yahoo (dot) com by 12/1 and provide me with an email address you would like your sleigh pass sent to. Ho! ---HelliSanta
You might not understand why the money - But it is well worth it. It will be paying for all kinds of drinking, food, entertainment, surprises. Do it. Don't miss this event. People are always missing this opportunity and then they cry about it later... Like massive heaving sob cries. This is coming up quick. Tell everybody you know about it. Santa is going to get fresh with Bikes and invade HELL - A.
what if people want to walk it? is everyone supposed to have a bike?
i want to ride a minibike like last year, but i am betting most others will be on road bikes. if its called a "ride" and posted here, this will be the case, no?? or is this the intention, to make this year a "ride"?
From my understanding there will be two different events coinciding at the same time - The bicycle version and the walking version. If you choose to do the walking version, then the 21$ is mandatory for the metro fares and other secret planned fantastic stuff. If you want to ride, then follow the instructions posted on Midnight Ridazz Calendar -->.
Perhaps the Reverend Dak Ultimak can help clear up any confusion on any of these issues I may have Borfed..
I've been busy with other less important shit, but expensive shit - none-the-less...
Due to demand, there is a RIDE and it is THE OFFICIAL DECEMBER LOS ANGELOPES, thus the name SANTALOPES!!!
We are SPECIAL GUESTS TO THIS YEARS SANTACON!
SANTA SUIT IS MANDATORY
FREAK, MINI & CRUISERS ONLY (Please).
It will be a SLOW, SLOW, SLOW, HO HO HO RIDE. and at ANYTIME you can & should (if you can't ride anymore) you can break off the ride and just continue on with the PEDESTRIANS (or the other special guests.)
IF YOU GO TOO FAST, SANTA WILL SLASH YOUR TIRES.
IF YOU LEAVE A SANTA BEHIND, SANTA WILL POKE YOUR BUTT.
-----
I need help:
Can someone contact BIKE OVEN and see if we can borrow mini bikes?
Santa Pete needs YOUR help. Please send $21 via PAYPAL. It will be spent wisely. Last year we had booze & food and the whole top floor of the FORMOSA, and Yellow School Buses lugging our drunk asses around.
I'm not the organizer of the event, just the coordinator for the Ridazz aspect of it.
If you trust me with your money, find me and I'll be glad to PAYPAL Heli-Santa-Pete for you. Just let me know. Unfortunately I'm out of town for most of the week, so if you can find someone else that can do the PAYPAL-ing for you, please (anyone?)
YO GRAHAM...can i give you the $21 the next time i see you and can you send it via paypal for me?? don't do it until i give you the money though. maybe tonight at the festival of lights?
last year Kyber stopped by to say hi and left after about 10 minutes. a few days later when he saw me he said that he had no clue what was going on and everyone he saw was swaying and no one could stand still...
I just read the yahoo group messages and someone mentioned using the Red line for the route this year. Sounds like a grand idea if I may say so myself. Would work for ridazz and walkazz alike!
BTW, after party at Dingos! Send me $10 for tickets to the party. Drinks are free!
You can show up without having paid. but it really sucks for the people who did pay and the organizers who dished out the money to make the special things happen.
I could give you many eamples of things in the past that happened besides busses, (which are not going to be part of this years santacon).
The bike ride will probably be just a small portion of the days events, but the organizers are highly anticipating the bike portion to be there.
I'm going to represent. Seriously, this event is a lot of fun and well worth the money.
i went on last years.
i want to go to this year's. i just haven't clicked any links to see where the money is going to, especially if there aren't any buses.
come on deb. just pay it. this isn't Midnight Ridazz. This event has things that cost money and it's coming out of the organizers pockets. For all the fun you had last year, isn't it worth $21? you may even get to see me get naked running around on the bus again. that alone should be worth at least $0.21. I'm sure there will be other good stuff to make up for the other $20.79.
Beside the bus and the photocopying the lyric sheet/ "don't do this and that" list"(true anarchy!). What else cost the organizers money last year? Only things else we did was walk through the malls down the street and paid to eat at restaurants and bars.
If I don't get on the bus, is it wrong not to pay for it?
besides the bus, last year there was rental of the top floor of formosa, and free drinks and free hors d'oeuvres. Come on, $21 isn't much for a great day of entertainment. Don't rip off the organizers.
Maybe you paid to eat at restaurants and bars. but last year aside from the bus, Heli-Santa brought us snow to fight with, free snacks and unlimited Gin at the Formosa Cafe, there were some other things too that I can't remember. But this year the stupid bus will be out of the picture, metro passes will be paid for, there will be a slew of other great things/entrance fees covered that not having buses will open up for Santa.
now i just have to convince others to fork over the money based on my word.
and this year i want a santa beard, borrowing jeff's last year is what made it all worth while.
RIDAZZ ONLY: If you REALLY REALLY NEED TO GO, and you have issues about the costs. Please contact me [rev.dak at gmail] about LOW INCOME/NO INCOME Sleigh Passes. ASAP.
If you are SantaCon-ing it PEDESTRIAN STYLE, please pay your $21 ASAP.
SANTA SUIT (or any sick interpretation of xmas colors) is MANDATORY.
FREAK or MINI Bikes are encouraged. But SANTACON is all inclusive and you will not be turned away for having a road or hipster bike. Try and borrow a cruiser, and decorate it, if you can.
For FREAK or MINI-Bikes, butcher something together at the Oven, or buy a beater from a thrift store.
To make things clear, email me rev.dak at STRAYCOUCHES dot COM for info about NO-Income/LOW-income SLEIGH PASSES. This is for broke-ass/cheap RIDAZZ ONLY.
Pedestrians MUST pay the $21. (Some ridazz are rolling with the Pedestrians.) It is likely that you will get too drunk to ride your bike, so bring a lock, and be prepared to LOCK your bike, walk, run & ride with the pedestrians, and get it back the next day, when you sober up. (If you can remember where you left it.)
Santacon is [LESS THAN] 1 week. If you're planning on attending, you must buy a sleighpass by December 1st [TODAY]. Hop to it.
[editors note: If you are a RIDA, and strapped for cash. Contact rev.dak [4+] STRAYCOUCHES [cl0+] COM for LOW/NO Income options, ASAP!]
Why does it cost money?
Because Santa doesn't like to walk miles and reindeer need hay and oats. All funds go directly into producing the event. (Bring your own bail money.)
What is the route?
The route is sekret until the day of the event. That's always the way this event is run.
Where does it start?
Start location will be given to sleigh pass-ers one day before the event.
When does it start?
You should plan to arrive at the start location between 12 and 1pm on Saturday. The sleighs will leave at 1:30, so don't be late.
Will I be able to park?
Yes, there is fairly easy parking at cheap metered spots or free spots within 4 blocks of the start location. And yes, your car will be ok overnight and on Sunday morning if you need to take a taxi home.
Will there be an afterparty?
Yes, Santa will be partying until 2am - or later.
What do I need to bring?
Santa brings gifts to good children. He also brings a liquid fortifier for strength on his long journey. Santa should bring money for drink and food stops. It is always suggested that Santa wears comfortable shoes and eats a good breakfast for a memorable journey.
I dont know how to use paypal and have no credit card to my name. can anyone help me out? I have the cash I would just need someone to do the pay pal for me.
I do not want to miss out on this... please, anyone?
Please meet at CRANK MOB park with your Christmas suit on, we will be riding sometime around 10AM - depending on the destination of the festivities (which will not be announced on Friday).
Be creative with your santa garb, don't worry about it being perfect. A $1 santa hat and a red track-suit or sweats would totally work, and has worked for many at very little costs.
Being BROKE is NOT a valid excuse. If money is an issue please contact ME directly. The rumors may be true, but you can only find out if you contact me.
my bday is on the 8th so i asked for an advance on my present from my parents. it looks like i will be making it. good reverend... i will have your $21 on saturday. yay!!

I recommend INVESTING in a SANTA SUIT. You will wear it again, and again. I've gone through 4 or 5 suits already... well, i get bored and usually make another.
OK RIDAZZ, this is important. Remember that I said that we're SPECIAL GUESTS. Well, we want to arrive at the start location in STYLE, like the squadron of RED RIDAZZ, wreaking of BOOZE and HOTT EXCITEMENT.
SO, RIDAZZ, we're rolling to the OFFICIAL START en masse.
MEET: 11:30 @ PIONEER CHICKEN in ECHO PARK.
ROLL: 12:00 PM, ON THE DOT.

@dingo, PLEASE COME, dressed in GREEN, like an elf. Don't forget the ears. And glue them on WELL. I'll need to grip them as I pull your head into my crotch.
I'm using that extremely shitty bmx bike that we got for free from that dude in Salton Sea out of the back of his pick-up truck. The back wheel dislodges often so I may only ride for a stop or two.
HOllly moley.... I am sooooo EXCITED!!... I can't stop giggling about how much fun we're gonna have tomorrow!! I will be pulling an all nighter to get my santa suit in shape and I have no mini bike still.... I am waiting for one of you bozos to get too waysted to ride yours!! Ja Ja Ja!!! Santa wants a drink!!! Santa wants a drink!!!!! Guess who's off the sleigh tomorrow!? mwahahaha!! HO HO HO!!

im heading to party city again tomorrow to pick up at least one more santa suit for $15. if anyone else needs one post it here and give me the money when i get to echo park. eddieboy... don't worry, i'll get you yours.
REV DAK, THE INFAMOUS DISCORDIAN SOMETHING, SOMETHING, SOMETHING, SOMETHING, I I NEED A SLAIGH PASS, I HAVE THE MONEY, AND ILL BE AT THE START IN ECHO PARK, THANK YOU REV DAK, THE INFAMOUS DISCORDIAN SOMETHING, SOMETHING, SOMETHING, SOMETHING, AMEN.
Santacon is not political. It's like Midnight Ridazz. It's about Chaos and Confusion. Make them think for themselves. Dont be shoving anything down peoples throat except Santa's Dong.
I saw this thrift shop with a Santa on a bike attached to their wall on my recent bike touring trip and thought you folks would be into it. Happy Holidays!
2 more major santacon sightings, this time from across the street as I was djing in a storefront window in hollywood. I was like a goldfish in a bowl watching all the santacons wizz by.
Even Though I had not involvement of organizing the ride. I was told early on that there were going to be no busses. So, I figured the money was going to be put to surprises. (There was ice.) Also, I thought there would have been more free drinks and food like I have encountered in previous Santacons.
Several Ridazz came up to me asking me where the money they paid for went. They weren't majorly upset, but I feel bad for hyping up that this money would be well worth it. To a lot of people it still was fun. But the fact that the organizer who I spoke to who told me that they would will and use metro only made me feel really burned and embarrassed about me having trusted that it would all work out.
There also was the issue of myself losing the bikes and us not staying close together at all times. Again, I was not leading it, and I had no idea more than any other Santa where the next stop was. It was very chaotic.
So, I'm sorry about the FAIL in those areas. However, I could tell that most of you enjoyed yourselves and that despite the costs this was a very unique and large turn out for this event due to Midnight Ridazz showing that the fun can also be on two wheels. If you are troubled about anything. Please contact me and perhaps I can do something to ease your mind.
Thanks to You All for coming out to this event. I am glad so many did and hope you got something fun out of the experience.
Also, Please help Team Creanberry find his nice camera he lost.^^^
Basically, I wanted to say sorry to those who seemed upset about paying for this. I was not involved with the planning, but I was someone who promoted it. My bad for having you trust that it would be worth it. I was misinformed, and I regret not having known any details on this event. I wish I could do something, but i can't. I hope most of you had fun, regardless.
A lot of those people who were walking Santa's were strongly influenced by seeing our bike community, and perhaps they might consider picking up a bicycle and joining us into FREE F.U.N. in the future.
You're too hard on yourself Borfo. I don't know about the losing bikes part but the rest of the stuff was out of your control. I had a great time, mostly because I was with a bunch of great ridazz.
i whined the whole day because i was grouchy but it was fun even though it could have been better. being with my MR friends is always better than being home alone. hopefully future santacons provide a little more for the dough. oh well. good seeing you borfo!!
wait bikes were actually stolen?? i saw the thieves and yelled at everyone to watch their bikes but i was hoping that nothing would happen with all of us there. ugh sickening.
I was rolling on the bus and looked back to a passing Santa Bus to see someone with the drink I had at the previous stop. When I went to reach out for it, they pulled back inside, taunting-like. I felt razzed and instinctively spit out onto the person, just to retalliate (don't ask me why). I found out today it was Nicole that I spit on. Yay me.
does your ulock have a sticker on it???? sarah ended up with three ulocks one was mine and i dont think she has an owner fer the other two.. call her or tell me and ill checks... also, weirdly enough, i think i might have your red sweatshirt some guy had it and i swooped it, hes like "i dont know whose this is" so i was like "well then you wont mind giving it to me" so i have it i think its just plain red tell me the size make and model.. hahaha
oh and towlies bong still needs to be smoked out of,
I hate you all, but borfo. I love ma borfo. And that was bullshit the 5 buck cover charge at the Echo plex. I reach into my bag to take out my I.D. and realized that I had lost my wallet. And my life was in that wallet. My only baby picture. So much of ma bullshit. The last time I'm sure I had it was with SantaJulia at that Chinese/Donut place on yucca. If anyone finds it, take the money just return it. Thank you. Hopefully.
Regardless. It was F>U>N>>>>>But how was it in the Echo plex?
sorry to hear. I don't know anyone riding who went into the echoplex. We were kicked out of that place. I went to echo park to chill with ridazz. A bit bummed about some of the things that happened, but overall Midnight Ridazz represented and showed how it's really done!
Chaotic day and not in a fun way. Sure it's always fun to roll with everyone, but wtf? Five buses of santas disappear after El Cid? From the pics I've seen, looks like everyone was at the mall place that's at the Highland/Hollywood redline station? From that point, I don't know what happened to everyone. And yes that was with hanging with the ride leader. Seemed like we also lost alot of ridazz after El Cid too.
And what did I get for my $21? Well I did pick up an ice ball someone threw. Damn that must have been fun tagging someone with that sucker! And that's about it! Oh wait, I did get a pretty good hit of bus fumes as one of the buses went by! :-)
Put me down for one of those poor/broke ass free tickets for next year, I'm done paying for nothing. Feel sad for the ones that this was their first SantaCon. It does give you an idea of what is possible. Personally we as ridazz can do a hell of alot better than what the last two SantaCons I've been on. I'll step up and help out if that happens.
PS: I lost a cable with a master lock on it if someone found that. Sorry to hear about the stuff ridazz lost above too.
i had fun yesterday. i wish my money went to more goodies too but eh, what are you going to do? i'm going again next year and if i have the choice, i'll bike it instead of being a pedestrian again. the buses were fun but i spent most of my time hanging out the window chanting at the rest of you guys whizzing by through hollywood traffic!
yay borfo for hyping this thing. it's not your fault it wasn't the best in the world. it's whatever we make it and it sounds like some of us chose to make it a really good day.
1. it was great seeing everyone
2. dancing on hollywood and highland fuuuuun.
3. eddie im sorry about your foan, and im really sorry you think someone stole it, im not ruling out someone had taken it, but lets not rule out the other options, a. you misplaced it; b. someone picked it up on accident thinking it was theirs; c. what service do you have cuase i got a couple extra foans..
im sure it will turn up but if it doesnt i gots some foans fer ya..
imabout to take the metro to lbc, no user1 im not coming fer ya haha see yall.
Santacon is great, it just has baggage that it needs to drop. Lose the busing and the afterparties at douchey clubs. You could charge half as much and still come up with some props and a free drink or two for everybody, and nobody will end up wondering where the fuck their money went.
Start near metro station...rampage across town...last stop or afterparty is also near metro station so that people can stay as long as they want and then take the subway back to the start. Easy peasy. That'll be $21 for the advice, please. Thx
Sort of the same reason I didn't really go down to this one.
Didn't seem like much of a ride, just a short jaunt to a convention, much like the weak-sauce that I thought of July's(NOT THE PERSON) CRANK Mob.
Essentially a short-ride to an event.
So there's my confession, and if it hurts anyone, then tell me which wood-shed to go to.
Just thought I'd get those revelations of my chest, bury the hatchet, put the old dog out of its misery, etc,.
My favorite moment was rolling into the park at the start and seeing all the ped santas' faces lighting up like a wave as if they knew the party was about to get started.
That rocked.
Since I didn't go into a bar and just stayed out by the street (along with what seemed like most of the other ppl riding) it would have been awesome to have a place to hang out that had things to do other than stand beside a road- although it was fun for a while :)
I am thinking I still want to do this again next year, but as others have said I will probably not be shelling out any money. Overall I'm really glad I came as it was a very adventurous day, and it was cool to be a part of it, even if it didn't meet all of my expectations.
By the way, when the sun was out it was F-ING GORGEOUS outside. wowowowowow
"We made a few bucks posing like this for tourists..."
Banaphone and I got invited out for drinks on the subway on the way home. I tried to get them to pay us $5 for pictures but they just kept squatting on my head while I lay on the platform and wouldn't stop taking pictures even when I went all evil santa on them.
Hahahah, waiting for the subway was one of the best parts of the night.
Teabagging and then dogpiling Marino in the middle of Highland with Stephanie standing guard was fucking awesome.
And bentstrider, we did plenty of riding. It was more fun just hanging out with ridazz, the peds other than the ridazz on the buses were generally boring. It was ridazz led by Marino dancing to the drum guy at Hollywood/Highland, not really any peds. I was expecting way more interaction with the public, too me it seemed that it was only ridazz having fun with the public.
Only 100 photos Lizard Queen? I took almost 500 (including breakfast at Ridge Way). Good thing I flaked out when I did - I would have run out of memory!
No malice aimed at you guys, this ride, or SantaCon in any way.
As you could tell from the other threads, I'm sort of pissed off about multiple, other things going on within my poorly constructed, realm of reality.
One slap in the face after another.
We all got problems, but I feel as though six months of hard work and determination has just made me look like a crazy guy running after the golden-goose.
I guess the first 70 santa's were FREE to the afterparty? That's cool. I rode on the bus from Jumbos to the ExPlexxx and that was a lot of fun! A bunch of ridazz waz on the bus yelling and that was nice. I think I like SantaCon walking with the other peds more. I feel like I didn't encounter enough peds to mess with. I was pretty wasted by the 4100 bar and had to waterfy my body. All in all I had a TON of fun! Sucks people lost stuff but that's the nature of SantaCon I guess!!! Will be back.
Although I had a lot of fun this year, it felt more of a monthly ride as santas rather than what santacon used to feel like. I had a ton of fun in the past doing it ped style and next year might ditch the mini bike and go cause chaos with the peds… trying to meet up with them was kinda chaotic for Borfo and others and I don’t want to put anyone through that again.. especially since I am not the one stepping up to help organize a ride…(maybe a seperate ride on a diff day) but for santacon I like being so fucked up I need a bus to take me from place to place and somehow end up home….
Ditching the bikes is an idea that could use some exploring. You can still get your interaction with the public on a bike. Ideally I would have liked to seen it be this. The buses are ditched, and the redline used. If people wanted to roll on bikes, they could still be joining everyone on the redline, or roll on the streets, or a combo of the two. I was on the buses two years ago. Sitting in traffic wasting my day was no fun with a drunk on.
Granted this was my first Santacon, but I can't imagine sitting on those buses. Being on the ground in traffic and with people on the sidewalks just seemed way more fun to me.
Yeah last year had chaos. Walking down Melrose was fuckin epic. For example going into the sex shop to browse around. That wouldn't have happened on bikes. Doesn't mean we wouldn't of had some other epic event on bikes though.
WoW! Barley is my official photographer from now on.
As for the $20 bucks. It would be a rip off if someone pocketed the money to buy a personal dong costume or something. It was all used on the buses even if we didn't get any. We could've if we wanted to. Not so great planning? Yes. Ripoff ? No!
As for the buses vs bikes vs ?
PeeShe said it best.
Fuck buses, fuck buses. Let's do it on public transportation next time.
Or if you feel super naughty we could use a couple of U-Haul trucks
or stake beds
but that's where we start getting into trouble with the law.
Welcome to the SANTACON : THE RIDE thread fluffa! On this thread we've discussed planning and post event results of this ride. We look forward to hearing your insights to this event.
YA, I WANT MY MONEY BACK, I RODE ME BIKE AND I WANT MY MONEY BACK, I DID NOT EVEN GET TO GO IN TO THE CLUBS, AND THAT SUCKS, I WAS TOLD THAT IF I PAID FOR THE SLIEGH PASS I WOULD BE ABLE TOO.
GRAHAM, FIRST OF ALL, I HAD A LOT OF FUN, AND I NOT GOING TO REPEAT WHAT I SAID EARLIER, I TALKED TO BORFO ABOUT THIS ALREADY, AND YES ITS NOT RIGHT FOR BORFO TO GIVE UP 20 DOLLARS, AND NEITHER IS IT RIGHT FOR ME TO GIVE UP MONEY, WHEN YOU PAY FOR SOMETHING, YOU EXPECT TO GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR.
I THINK THAT THE INDIVIDUAL THAT TOOK THE MONEY, SHOULD PAY IT BACK, BUT I REALIZE THAT BORFO AND THIS OTHER PERSON ARE VERY CLOSE AND HAVE ALREADY TALKED ABOUT THIS INCIDENT.
IM GOOD WITH THAT, I UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON NOW.
I EXPECT YOU TO FIGURE IT OUT TO.
IF YOU REALLY CARE TO POST YOUR OPINION ON THIS WEBSITE.
PLEASE 'KNOW' WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT AND TO WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT.
THAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH THIS WEBSITE, AND THE SAD THING IS THAT WE ALL KNOW EACH OTHER and WE TREAT EACH OTHER LIKE THIS.
Eddie, I feel responsible because I didn't communicate enough with the person. A month ago I was told there would be no buses and that would make it easier for more surprises and food and drink. If you look early on this thread, that's what i told all of you. Apparently planner changed his mind and I was no longer part of the discussion. There's nothing I can do about getting people refunds from him because all the money paid for everything. Nothing was pocketed. I am certain of that.
If you paid online with pay pal, you got a, "sleigh pass". This sleigh pass was intended to allow people who paid to ride the bus and etc. I never reminded Ridazz that they had an option of riding the bus BECAUSE I WAS NEVER TOLD THERE WAS GONG TO BE BUSES!
The planner never thought that we were going to survive the whole route on a bike and assumed we would end up getting on the bus once we were tired. Some Ridazz did ride the bus. You know who you are. So that's it.
My mistake for not being communicative enough with the organizers. We all got burned as a result. Most of us still had fun, regardless. Nevertheless, I am very sorry this didn't work out perfectly.
The bikes were a wish of mine and Dak's to see Ridazz dominate and shake up this traditional bar crawl concept with a new element of Bicycle Culture in order to promote fun and inspire more like-minded deviants to follow us in the future.
"The bikes were a wish of mine and Dak's to see Ridazz dominate and shake up this traditional bar crawl concept with a new element of Bicycle Culture in order to promote fun and inspire more like-minded deviants to follow us in the future."
I'm glad most of you had fun, and I'm sorry if some of you felt ripped off.
It was the 2nd year for this year's SantaCon organizers, they're still figuring things out. I can guarantee 99% of the pedestrian Santas still had more than $21 worth of FUN. I paid $21, and still rode my bike. I still had more than $21 of FUN.
I think I prefer the pedestrian aspect of SantaCon. Walking, riding trains & buses, is bit more inclusive - I admit that the $21 is somewhat restrictive. I think it's worth it. When you walk, you interact with the public more - that interaction with the unprepared public is what I most love about SantaCon. For some reason you don't get that riding a bike. I don't think SantaCon works on bikes. It could have, but it didn't.
Next year we'll do Los Santalopes again. It'll be FREE, and it'll be a just like Los Angelopes, except in Santa Suits. And it'll be on a different day that the regular SantaCon - So I can do that TOO.
Sincerely, Santa.
p.s. How come there aren't any pictures of Post Apocalyptic Santa (me).
"When you walk, you interact with the public more"
How much walking was there this year, though? I only saw them walking a little ways down Sunset and a little on Hollywood Blvd.
+1 to funanu, even after we had been out for hours it was great to see that it was only 6pm and that we still had plenty of hours of fun left ahead of us.
@t-bong, there was a LOT LESS walking this year, this is true. There is usually a lot more. Actually the walk from Highland to Cahuenga was pretty significant, and their walk from the 99c store to 4100 to El Cid was pretty impressive.
I still think keeping the events separate will be the best thing to do.
I guess I was too busy at the Power House to notice when Santa walked from Highland to Cahuenga. That would have been fun.
I'd like to do both, so doing two separate events next year would be awesome. BUT SANTA SUITS, ELF COSTUMES, CHRISTMAS TREE COSTUMES, ETC HAVE TO BE MANDATORY.
I actually enjoyed the bus ride. I was in the front seat and somehow managed to get over 50% of the bus to sing most of the songs in the booklet. I even passed around that gallon sized bottle of rum(?) and it made its way back about 1/10 full.
The buses were maaaaad fun. Well, I've heard some of the other drivers were assholes, ours #69 was the shit!!!
I ped'd it this year, and ended up as a Santa wrangler 'roundabout snowball fight time, and into the rest of the evening. It sounds like there were issues with the Echo, which blows, but yeah, first 70 santas got in free. I know they turned some Santas away coz they were "drunk" and wouldn't let awesome ass-less chaps Santa in because he was wearing ass-less chaps. LAME. I was not one of the organizers, but I am super super glad I wasn't in on the ground floor of the planning process - this is a hard event to organize to the exact taste of 300 drunken Santas. I had a really good time, though, and I'm sure it was a learning experience.
It sucks that some of you didn't have as much fun as you would have liked, but one of my favorite parts was having the Ridazz there. IT WAS FRIGGIN' AWESOME to see you guys hootin' and hollerin' on yer bikes, and the Ridazz vibe really contributed to every Santazz' fun.
@Chynna I also found a picture of Reecy's crotch in my camera!
I swear the only crotch I remember photographing is Mikey's.
I'm so glad you wrote that.
This must be some international Santacrotch crotchspiracy.
