 Bikerowave @ 800 ride leaves at eight.
I like climbing, I like the beating of my heart as I slowly push each rotation to the top. I like the calm serenity at the top. The feeling of the cold night air against my warm body. And Finally I like the down hill: the gentle push of gravity, the spinning of my legs in the highest cog. That nervous vibrations as bike reaches top speeds. Something so strong and beautiful, but could easily slip away from under your feet. I love to ride my bike.

Downhill rally on 16” kids bikes.
Rules of play:
Your bike must have 16” wheels and must be in a stock configuration. No upgrades except the addition of a caliper (the shittiest kind) style
brake may be added. No other upgrades or altering of stock equipment including tires may be made to the bikes. You can of course adjust
your seat/stem/bars/brakes to your liking, not like it will help. We want to avoid an escalation of riders throwing money into bikes that should

A reinvented Thursday Night Ride.
Meet up at the Pierce Orange Line Station, Winnetka/Victory parking lot. Look for the bikes.
Meet 8:30pm / Roll 9:30pm
Route: 10-30 miles. Pace: Medium, 15-20mph minimum. 1-2 stops. Maybe some hills. We will try to get back

a major line, Orange, Red, so people can get home if they too tired or live far.

This ride is a medium-paced ride that goes roughly 20-30+ miles through the streets of the South Bay and
surrounding cities. We meet at 5:30PM and roll out at 6PM (usually later, because people always lag). The ride
has 1 or more stop and about halfway through the ride we stop at a grocery store or liquor store for food and
refreshments and head to a nearby park or location for a 30 minute break or so, then head back and end at or
near the start of the ride.
