O.J. Simpson Murder Ride

 On June 12th, 1994 former football star Orenthal James Simpson violently murdered his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. To commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of the crimes we will be riding through Brentwood and visiting key landmarks associated with the case. This ride will be medium paced, but might include some steep hills. Still, it won't overly challenging. The ride meets at 8:30 PM in front of Paul Revere Middle School. The address is 1450 Allenford Ave Los Angeles, CA 90049.

Friends of the Los Angeles River Clean-Up Ride

 The Friends of the Los Angeles River are hosting their annual river clean-up event.
This ride meets at the Long Beach Bike Station and will ride six miles up the river trail to the Del Amo Metro Station clean-up site.
There are several sites along the river, so if you live north of L.B. and don't want to ride to the meet up, check the folar website
for other clean-up sites.
We meet at 8:15 am and roll out at 8:30.
The clean up event is from 9:00 am to noon.
Bring:
Gloves
A hat
Sun screen
Sturdy shoes
Power bars or other energy food
Drinking water
There will be live blues music by Bernie Pear...
