The L.A. Wheelmen are putting on their annual ride Sunday March 24. One hill and only 600 feet long. Cycle up Fargo Street without putting a foot down and earn a groovy patch.
Fargo is the "steepest street in L.A.", and according to at least one web site, it is the third steepest street in the world.
At 33% grade, they don't pave hills that steep anymore.
Bring a low geared bike and give it a shot, or just watch as others attempt it with varying results.
Two years ago, Unigeezer made it up twice on a unicycle.
There is no fee to ride. It goes off from 9 am to 1 pm.
