FREE Cycling Skills Classes All Summer

For all my friends who have been wanting to learn how to ride bikes in the city but are intimidated by it.... I am teaching FREE classes offered by the City of Burbank in partnership with Sustainable Streets. The classes covers everything from proper lane positioning to bike fitting and best practices on the roads. Once you take this class you will become a more confident city cyclist.
FREE helmet, patch kits and other swag when you sign up.

Students can expect to learn:
■ common safety hazards for young cyclists and pedestrians,
■ how to fit and wear a bicycle helmet
■ how to perform a pre-ride bicycle check
■ how to be visible when riding in traffic and choosing routes to avoid high traffic corridors
■ proper communication when riding, hand signals, scanning, & lane position
Classes will be held at 150 N. 3rd St. Burbank Community Services Room
Register for this Saturday, ride bikes like a champ on Sunday.
