Bright red tandem, with teeny 20" wheels — stolen this afternoon from outside the Home Depot at Cypress Park.

It's a Bike Friday Family Tandem Traveler, kitted out with racks and fenders front and rear.

There aren't many tandems around, let alone with small wheels like that, so it's pretty distinctive! If anybody spots anything that might be it please let me know.

I live very close in that area and will keep my eyes open. Such an awesome bike too.!!!

Thanks man (on both counts!)

It's our main transport (we don't have a car), so not having it really sucks :-(

Aw man that sucks, especially since it's your only form of transportation. Why don't you head over to the Flying Pigeon (http://flyingpigeon-la.com/) and talk to Joseph. Maybe he could set you guys up with a great deal. Good luck man.

Post this as stolen in the SF, San Diego, and Vegas Craigslist. Most bikes stolen in LA are transported to flea markets in other cities.
