It's near where we had the last coaster brake race, we actually used it about a year ago so it's cbc, single speed friendly. The whole loop is about 12 miles I was going to bring some newbies out and I'm still hacking up lung cookies so I figure something light would be good for that purpose. However, one can go off in a different direction and make the ride much longer as there are a few ways to go out there, it's up to you. I'd be down for some exploration as long as I get to work on time, so don't make plans based on me showing up I have to sneak my riding in when and where I can.

I'm down to ride Sunday again. I like to get an early jump on things being that I'm made of clockwork bits and don't need food or sleep or love of anything for that matter that is not bicycle related. You can sleep when you're dead. If you're late to everything then you get fired from life just like a job. Life is a job and one I intend to do my best at and be there for all of it I can. Making others wait on you is just plain rude and selfish. It's late. I have to get up at the crack of dawn , install my carb on my van then go trail riding and beat the roosters to caw at the morning sun. Goodnight.

I recommend a second start time for the party people at 9am and you can hook up with us on the second loop while you do your first, sound good? Of course it is because riding in the dirt is the shit, son.

-YOU MAY CRASH ON A PATH WE DECIDE TO RIDE ON
-WE ASSUME YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO NOT LISTEN TO US and NOT FOLLOW US (whether we have a megaphone or loud voice)
-WE ASSUME THAT YOU WILL KNOW IT IS RAINING IF IT HAPPENS TO RAIN AND THAT YOU'RE AWARE OF THE ADDED DANGER IT CAN BRING.
-WE ASSUME THAT YOU KNOW NONE OF US ARE BIKE NAZIS INSPECTING EVERY BIKE TO ENSURE THAT THE PERSON(S) YOU RIDE BEHIND ARE ABLE TO BRAKE, OR WILL NOT HAVE THEIR REAR WHEEL FLY OFF, WHATEVER IT MAY BE.
-WE ASSUME YOU KNOW THAT ANYONE CAN JOIN: NEWBIE, SUPER-NEWBIE, NEWBIE THAT THINKS HE IS NOT A NEWBIE AND RIDES LIKE THEY THINK
THEY'RE A RACER.
-WE ASSUME YOU KNOW THAT PART OF THESE KINDS OF RIDES IS THAT THERE ARE RISKS INVOLVED THAT YOU SUBJECT YOURSELF TO, OF YOUR OWN VOLITION, WHICH ANY PERCEIVED DANGER IS UP TO YOU TO IGNORE, AVOID, ETC.
-WE ASSUME THAT YOU KNOW THAT WE'RE ALL FAIRLY FALLIBLE BEINGS THAT CAN AND WILL MAKE MISTAKES, WHICH AGAIN, ASSUMES YOUR ABILITY TO NOT FOLLOW OUR LEAD.
-WE ASSUME THAT YOU KNOW WE WILL RIDE DOWNHILLS, UPHILLS, AND ON FLATS, EACH HAVING ITS OWN QUALITIES THAT ARE NOT HARD TO IMAGINE (esp to experienced riders)
-YOU KNOW WE DONT HAVE ANY INSURANCE FOR THE RIDES LET ALONE FOR OUR POOR-ASS SELVES, so fuck it, sue us.
-RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK, there is no fine print.
-LASTLY, WE ASSUME THAT YOU KNOW IT IS COMPLETELY YOUR RIGHT TO STAY IN BED AND TO EVEN NOT LIKE US, WHICH WE ALSO ASSUME IS THE REASON OUR RIDES ARE FAIRLY LIMITED IN ATTENDEES (no complaints)
Therefore, if you crash, please don't turn on us like some of ya'll did to a fella rida recently. No one here enjoys hearing someone was hurt, crashed, or the like. Its all scary, emotional, and full of stomach turning moments. As a community lets stick together to encourage compassion for those that get hurt and even those that risk bringing imaginative, DIY, unsanctioned, and no insurance having bike events and or rides to this city.

That sounds ouch. At my current fitness level I don't think I'd want to even do that geared right now.

Yes, the suffering was great especially for those of us dumb enough to ride full rigid single speeds, mine being geared 34/18 was an ouch factor for sure (not recommended) . By the last climb at the end my legs just stopped working, but there was a Gatorade in the car in a cooler waiting for me so it was good.
