Ahhhh i remember a few weeks ago when all those Hit N RUn threads were around and i was like Damn i hope that no1 i know posts one of these things. And now im posting one of these GOD DAMN FUCKING THreads!!! Ahh Unfortunately on my way back from the test ride i got hit by a piece of shit Silver Merecedes ughh. So heres how it went down. i was riding back from the beach on western minding my own business all the way to the right, and BAM!!! Before i knew it you here a noise the car clipped by back rim i hit a parked car and took out its mirror and i jumped over the front of my bike.Walked away from it was dumbfounded for a few seconds i looked back to fucking curse the hell out of this guy that hit me. Looked around i see he's already making a left on to melrose It was bullshit !! 6:00am broad daylight. Thank god im okay cause that shit could've been soo soo so so so so so so so much worse.So anyways to the point of my thread my back tire was completely demolished my bike is in good conditon everything still works more or less but i need a back fixed gear wheel if anyone knows of any deals or if you have an extra 1 that you can let go for a reasonable price let me know on this thread And yes im going to check ebay and the other threads. So yeah i need it by friday so i can help lead the East Hollywood ride to the toy ride. I just want to ask you some questions.
What time of the day was it?
What was the intersection or nearest cross street to where you were hit..
Did you have a back light?
How fast was the car going?
Describe the car. Mercedes convertible, sedan? 2 door 4 door? year?
Any plate numbers?
How are you physically?

Yes i had a backlight but it doesnt matter cause it was broad daylight
I didn't see the car too well but it was a 4 door
I didnt get the plate number because there was a car behind it
Physically im pretty okay i got scratches on my elbow from when i hit the mirror
and the whole righ side of my body is pretty fucking sore but like i said it couldve been alot worse

Mostly i was really pissed cause it 100% the guys fault I finally thought i was gonna get my payday but the bitch ran off
The worst part is i know it was some asshole on the phone not paying attention going to work or coming home drunki idk. I was all the way to the right going pretty fast cause i was a few blocks away from my house thats the worst part
2 more fucking minutes and i wouldve been home Safe and Sound

glad your ok alex..i just caught a lick from BMW on my way to work this morning.Did in my rear wheel and front fork.Same block i got hit on in august.At least we were able to walk away.

You really never know.. Better to play it safe.. I have an extra helment if you need to borrow one brotha..

@road block yes i did file a report and guess what that mother fucking cock sucker said to me?first he gave me shit because it was 3 days after, and he said" why the hell would you file a report it happened already". what a dumb ass ofcourse i wanted to file a police report i got hit by a car. and then he asked if i got the licences plate number i said no. guys says there is no point because then you cant find them, true but some one could have called it in. guy says no one called it in, i asked if he worked on sunday? and he got this stupid look on his face, i made his ass file a report eventualy but then he gave me shit for not having a ID from this state, then finally he gave me the report and i puckit in my back pack. the next day at polo all my shit got soaked and all my papers got fucked :( Owell i fuckin hate the pigs

Now the job is highly sought after like some high-class, white-collar exec position.
Except most of them weren't required to spend 4-10 years and an assload of money getting a piece of paper.

If the cop reacted that way when you tried to file a police report you should take you complaint to the Office of the Inspector general over in downtown.
They are required to take your statement and start an investigation. They are also way nicer than the cops at the station and they actually have some teeth when it comes to getting shitty donut-eating morons to do their job correctly.

I got a similar "that's not serious enough" reaction from UCLA PD when I reported that I was almost run off the road by a Fed Ex delivery truck near campus. The dude brushed past me at high speed while yelling something on the god-awful stretch of Gayley that has about 100 ft of bike lane.
The supervising officer said that there's no law on the books that they could use against him. I was truly shocked, I am a fucking UCLA employee trying to get to work, and I'm supposed to put up w/ reckless driving and be okay with fearing for my life on a regular basis??
So they didn't dispatch anyone, even though I was holding the FedEx driver hostage. Events like this make me want to turn vigilante and handle shit on a case by case basis.
