just got home from Android Quail Ride aka Robotz. Awesome ride. The ride home was a bit crazy but we made it back east side. Time for bed.

Yeah the ride up the shaw was crazy. One of my favorite moments was some gangster saying "man you guys went up the wrong street for a bike ride". My second not so favorite moment was having a box of grape drink thrown at me by a passing car. Dude, seriously grape drink?1? Come on! Oh and I cant forget the dozen or so hookers we passed, they always bring a smile to my face

I just woke up... Got home at 7:30a after leaving IHOP at Manchester & Sepulveda, but then went and got McDonalds breakfast before truly retiring to my bed whenever the F that was....
What a fuckin blast of a weekend, I definitely got my fix though- today I am icing my neck from a frisbee toss gone bad (Undercover Bob- thanks for the correctional neck massage- that shit allowed me to get home without problem!)
(Medieval Ridazz + ROBOTZ = awesome weekend) +1

I just want to say that this ride is an unrelenting source of bike pleasure for me. It's a new adventure everytime I show up. KNITTENS and friends always know just what to do, and where to do it. Everything; Playa Vista, Marcus teaching us how to make houses out of wooden barricades at the Forum, Ralphs parking lot, the Grass lander with a view at LMU, Inglewood Park, Hollywood Park and of course, the SKATEPARK!!!
Cereal, the Ridazz themselves also make up an incredible part of all this too. Hearing Marcus regale me with tales from the road (ask him about the ice cream!), when Funanu and someone else whose name I didn't remember set up jumps for me to pull on my fixie, Meow for painting whiskers on everyone, Full Contact keep away frisbee with Franz, and especially Brandon, who inspired me to ride that half pipe at the skatepark. WHOA that shit is so crazy!
Not getting home til sunrise, this ride was TEH BEST EVAR!!!!!

ROBOTZ WAS AMAZING. I am beat, i didnt get home till 7:30am and there were still bunch of people there when i left. Good thing im a ROBOT and still could smoke all the old dudes in spandex on my way home to pacific palisades. 60+miles for robotz, so worth it.

ROBOTZ is teh best! The triangle of death, the cartwheel contest, my franzia shower, the forum, the skatepark, the good hills, OMG the FUCKING TUNNEL! Loved it. Had a blast. Went home full of happiness. Love all you ROBOTZ!

Reminds me of when a few of us were trying to catch up with I think the first Robotz. We went down Crenshaw and saw a dead body in the middle of the road, met JABU (check the photo gallery), got pulled over, and a bunch of other crazy things I can't remember.

best part of ROBOTZ: that we don't just do a beer stop and then go to a park and drink. instead we go places that are off the wall and crazy (large tunnel i didn't go in cause i couldn't figure a way to get out, but that's because i am afraid of heights), we have adventures - i have no idea where i was. the water fight was awesome. park at the end of the night - the ones who stayed know - truly an epic time.
raining ash after ihop - i think i fell off my bike at some point - i was completely wasted by the halfway point - the HUSTLE! The hustle and pace lines we formed.... i love that ROBOTZ is changing the way a social ride and hustle ride can come together!
cannot wait for the next one!

WEIRD, the tunnel seems to be enjoyed here, but i thought it was hated during the ride. I overheard Alex blaming it on me on the ride, so I guess now I'll take the praise! Muahhahaaa
