Which are the best weekend day rides?

I remember seeing a big ride going through North Figueroa (beyond 5/110) mid day, but couldn't find the name on the site - some folks have said something like "May's ride" or something - do you know what the name is? It seemed fun!
What other weekend rides are there for casual bike fun?
I always see the evening rides but have yet to hit the cool day/ weekend ones!
Thanks~

Hey, this is may.
Usually I host reckless behavior rides, ride it party it, and reckless behavior races.
I always post them here and on fb. So just keep an eye out for it, and everything are mostly during day to afternoon

Hey Palooch.
Did u notice, he said mid-day? As in, day rides, not night rides.
To the original poster - If u don't already receive the email from LACBC (Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition), u should sign up ur email on their website, to subscribe. They lost a lot of community events and rides, as well as other important cycling advocacy stuff. Stuff like CicLAvia, Ride to support Lankershim, etc. a lot of good stuff.
On top of that, there are often rides posted by C.I.C.L.E., and sponsored by Metro, that are often very family friendly, community supportive, and fun, too.
Occasionally, u will find other random Art viewing rides, rides to the beach (mostly in summer), holiday-themed rides, and other such random cool rides - just keep an eye out on the ride event list to the right.
There are also several groups and individuals that do distance rides on weekends, as well. Anywhere from 10-25 miles easy/med pace, to longer distance rides that are med/spicy/fast paced.
It would be beneficial for you to catch the Passage ride on Wednesday evenings, and/or meet other ridaz on other weekly night rides, to get more in the know. A lot of rides are in pages or groups on Facebook, and you'll just have to get in the know to know. Know what I mean?
Good luck, Ride On!
