Ok so I know this is off the subject of biking, but I see you all as my family! What I'd like to ask is for any input or suggestions on how i should propose to my soon to be fiance. She leaves to go back to KS for the hollidays to visit her family while i stay here in Cali to work and pay the bills :). I'd really like to drop the question before she goes back home. So if any of you have any suggestion on how i should approach it please give me any input you have :).
Im just gonna toss the ring to her and say " Look either you take the ring and marry me, or give it back and get the f*** out!" But than i thought, "NO!! she has copys of all my lock keys for my bikes!"
I would go to the beach..or ride there.....you have to go there before you go with her..or him...lol jk..but...you go before her...this is a risk...but ive done it with a bday gift...you bury the gift or ring...under 3 feet of sand...make sure no one can see you..or else when you leave they will...dig it out...anyways...after is buried...you try and come back with her...you draw a treasure map...with feet directions and all...make her dig it and find it..when she finds it..you pop the question....and BAM!!! lol
Ya she loves to ride, usually goes on every ride with me but shes prego atm so riding a fixie is kinda out of the picture haha, she sticks to around the block a couple times on her beach cruiser now lol. I think i might do the park idea.
i went like around 5am....dug it out around 1pm...i just sat acted like a was just a loner...sad in the beach....lol i sat down...ate my sandwich...and dug..sitting down not making it obvious ...but u have to make sure you know the exact feet distance..or ure fuked.
I Think Im going to use this idea, but with a twist, im going to make sure its a day i work, take the ring to work with me, make the map on google maps, make her drive around ALL DAY, only to end at the park empty handed, knowing my girl, shes gonna be one heated lady, i than in return will ask her to help me try and find my earing that "fell out" of my ear while riding to the park to meet her after work, she then will find it in the grass as im already on my knee and BOOM, pop the question :D what yuo think?
I'm with Duderina... but it would sure suck as hell if he not only bought the plane ticket, but then got denied in front of all her family and friends from back home - forced to return single once again.
If you guys have a deep connection... I say you follow Duderina's advice.
