This is a USC Advance Production - One of the three productions chosen by The USC School of Cinema to fully produce for this coming Fall semester. It will be produced and directed by USC graduate film students, with a public screening held in December in Norris Theatre on USC campus. Previous productions have received awards in world-wide film festivals including Sundance and Cannes.
Character Descriptions and Notes (plus Storyline if applicable)

Previous productions have received awards in world-wide film festivals including Sundance and Cannes.
12-minute short film tells the story about Lolie, a teenage bicycle thief who supports her grandmother. When she decides to go straight, her only path to salvation is to take down her boss and leave the business for good.
LOLIE, female, Latina, 18 to 35, to play 17. A Teenage bicycle thief who secretly supports her grandmother. She's dressed hip yet functionally in jeans, a flannel, skateboarding shoes, and a red backpack. Ability to ride a bicycle a plus.
ANNA, female, Latina, 18 and older to play 14, slightly ragged. Lolie smiles and watches Anna struggle with the bikes rear wheel
SLICK, male, Latino, 25-45 to play 32. Runs a bicycle chop shop and uses Lolie and Anna to do his dirty work. Tries to get Lolie to also sell drugs, but Lolie fights back.
FREDYA, female, Latina, 45-65 to play 65. Lolie's loving and caring grandmother. She sells tamales and aluminum can pinwheels to make ends meet. She houses Lolie in her run down home. When she finds out that Lolie has been stealing to provide money to her secretly, she throws Lolie out of the house.
