I'll put it this way. Taco Tues "The Photography Ride" by Kenny Ong played Sat night. It was a beautifully shot movie, and actually one of my favorites of that screening. I was extremely bummed and hurt to hear that Kenny and/or other Taco Tues peeps did not show up for it. I hope that my information is incorrect, and I'm glad you got a chance to come on Fri night. I hope you enjoyed yourself.

No worries at all, we set this ride as a weekly thang so that everyone could attend once or twice a month if there work schedule got hectic, lucky for me my schedule is really, really, open. Make it back as soon as ya can, the ride is better with ya and your new shues.

Had no idea that there was a OC Taco Tuesday or such, I thought we were biting corporate America since one of our members work at Del Taco. Who knew? Does the OC Taco Tuesday still do rides? I will hate to change the name of our ride (again), but I don't want to create confusion either. Anyone have more info?

Name is confusing since the OC ride has been there for a while. If you mention Taco tuesday, people who've been here for a while will think of the one that starts at the Orange Circle. They use to post that ride on this site when they first started. I guess that the trouble with using the same name.
this ride is really fucking sweet. We are out on the jetty and we have good tunes and 30 people and it is 11:08pm with beautiful weather and we have the sound of waves.

I'm gonna meet up with you guys a little late this week. I'll be getting off work pretty close to the start time so I'm planning to ride around downtown with raquel and matt for a bit before I head to the west side. I'll call somebody on my way to find out where you are.
After a lot of time of thinking about this and talking with the other organizers of our bike ride and we have come to a decision. I really cannot believe that I have to say this, but IF YOU ARE NOT RIDING A BIKE, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE TACO TUESDAYS BIKE RIDE!!!!! I guess someone must have misunderstood the posting on MIDNIGHT RIDAZZ, IT’S “TACO TUESDAYS BIKE RIDE†;). We are NOT talking about showing up at the meeting point and hanging out before we leave, that’s totally cool. Look, we spend a lot of time, effort, and money trying to make the ride F.U.N. for everyone and have a goodtime. It’s really, really inconsiderate for a person or people to try to hi-jack or change numerous stops to fit THEIR agenda. If you want to do something else PLEASE DO IT or at least take the time and effort and post your own ride.
I really try to be a kind, helpful, compassionate person (that follows the code of the Midnight Ridazz), but sometimes a person or people will just push too much and try to take advantage of a situation. I am not the fastest rider or best on hills, but I try my best to follow the leaders when I go on their rides, and if I have a problem with a ride, I leave or do my own thing as a consideration and respect for the people who have taken their time and effort to organize the ride. I hate having to post this but:

Missed another one. I'm sad because XL's spoke cards are the best. I did pass a group of people heading south on Barrington to what appeared to be the start point at what appeared to be the ride start time that appeared to be people I knew, so I yelled out "HI NIKI" cuz that's the person I immediately recognized. The west side is a small place.

the reason we don't come is cuz we both have full time jobs and drew starts at 7am & i start at 830am so it is hard for us to do the westside thing on weeknights...but i am looking for another job so i will be there soon trust esp now
I think we are going to do the ride by consensus, maybe "The Hillz" maybe "Manhattan Beach Pier" or maybe "Classic", depending on the ridazz that show up. C-YA TONIGHT!!!
We roll at 12 - 14 mph, mostly flat, if you can do that on the beach cruiser then cool, but don't worry, the no ridazz left behind policy is in full effect!!!
fyi my computer tells me we were going around 13-17mph the last time i was there. i'll try to make it out tonight but i've also got to get up early tomorrow.

I terribly regret missing the ride tonight, but my absence was unavoidable. I started to go, but long story short I wound up back at my apartment and there, due to my idiocy, put the first scratch in my $200 powder-coat. a HUGE scratch. I'm still crying. 13 was not lucky for me.

I don't ride much at night during the week....but I can recommend a killer taco truck if you guys are into supporting the local trucks...Venice blvd. b/w Sepulveda and Sawtelle.
i have heard of this taco truck as well - in fact, i believe that was the one we searching for after the last SeXXXed Up Sundaezz until we realized that it was Sunday :( no taco trucks on Sundays!

the spoke card was awesome - the graphic was on teh front and the back was info from the ACLU (their contact info) and our rights both for getting searched (what to say / hot to act - what should happen - what will actually happen and how to take note for court appearances) + our rights as a cyclist on these streets here in LA.

i got a ride from one of the cats that had a pickup...i think my chain had too much slack. It caught in between my rear tire and the frame...i was only doing 65 mph in a 35 zone!!! I live in inglewood so it was not that far from marina del rey
had i known about the meaning of this taco tuesday, i would have been there had it cost me my pinky toe. my phone was broken and i fell asleep at 830.
so now, wednesday, i sit here, shedding tears of pain, but also tears of joy, because i know how much love you all have for me, and how wholeheartedly that love is returned. but mostly tears of pain. really really intense pain. ubob suggested masturbating until i bleed, but he just wants me to be like he was when he turned 18.

what time does this ride go till? is the Silverlake downhill roller coaster fixie friendly? (i.e. not insanely steep to the point where my pedals rip off my legs)
West side was going to come to east side to meet up with PTT but XL is sick so westside is going to do their classic route

PTT (east side) is postponed as i do not have a good route yet

I kinda pulled something in my upper leg on LACM, so I was trying to take it a little easy, we went to the Hollywood Bowl to meet ya guys and ended up waiting an hour or two with Cesar before we headed home. Went to Doc yesterday, said to stay off a bike this week, so sadly I'm riding my computer till next Tuesday. But after that I am going to go Taco Tuesday route crazy!!!
