I'd like to make some spoke cards for Pasadena Earth Day Critical Mass on Saturday, and need a source of cheap laminate.

Any suggestions?

 Kinkos. Not sure how much you need done, but I've had stuff done their before, laminate, book binding and what not.

I use the laminate machine in Pasadena on Colorado at this Teachers school supply store near the corner of El Molino Same block as the Pasadena Playhouse ( The old United Artists Theater).

They have a wide format Laminator about 18 inches wide on a continuous roll of laminate,. They charge 40 cents per foot and if you print your work on a card like stock paper, this machine will be perfect for spoke cards and is inexpensive. You have my number. Give me a call and I'll tell you more about it.

I can fit 9 in a row at a time and it goes by quickly and cheaply. Ive used it for all my spoke cards on rides.

 I take mine down to Staples or OfficeMax.
If anything, they're usually hand-drawn, on a small, piece of scratch paper.
With a little bit of outside-work thrown onto them.
Or, get my little sister to do the Photoshop thing, the proper way.

 you are more than welcome to use my laminator. Richard Collosus has it right now. Also, Staples is cheaper than Kinkos if you are printing in color.

Yes I am referring you to that place. The lady there is very nice. I think it's the best lamination solution for mass spoke card mania.

 The laminator is no problem. Last time I made spoke cards Sexy gave me some laminate and I used the laminator at Kinkos - free of charge. They're open 24 hours too. I just can't afford their laminate.

I'll be going to Angel School Supply - the price is right.

another alternative would be the self stick laminates at staples, they dont require a laminate machine, but they are a little thinner than normal. a pack of 100 for $20.00.

 I end up spending 14 dollars for 600 Spoke cards. About 30 feet long. Takes me 45 minutes to finish that many by myself. And another hour to cut them with three friends. If you have a Glow Ride spoke card - Same Quality. (you can also get a discount if you say you are a teacher. If not, then say you parked in the their parking lot).
