F' ,I never knew I hated big rides. My last big ride must have been 2 or 3 years ago. G'damn what a f'n hassel. NOW ACTIVE 420, I am not shitting on your leadership WHATSOEVER, good job, fuck everyone that shit talk, dont listen. I did plenty of rides and still do. But shit I forgot how crowding and limited you are with 500 + 1000+. I saw maybe 5 people I knew (whereas I am used to everybody) and had to constantly slow or avoid for someone. AHHHHHH!. ahhh... I feel better now. Oh, and the drinking in public ticket may have been the crowning in this unworthy thread. I have been a rida for 4 years and have never been even noticed. (well except when I just pop up naked). Yes, for you that see the opportuniity to make fun of this thread with the title, I see your comments comming (BRAD!),

Can't say I disagree with you on any of those points. Congratulations on realizing how un-fun these things get!
&&That's why we've all disappeared to polo. It's even more annoying when you're that much better at handling a bike.

I always figured that was the method to the collective madness that is BP.
When I first started doing the MRs, I would think it's safe to say I got on during the last years if it being a primarily 18+ activity(Vegas even moreso).
Now, it feels like I'm on an odd mix of a traditional MR adventure and a teeny bopper tv show.
Why couldn't it be a Huey Lewis and The News video instead?

and i totally relate to you man... these big rides (on one hand are fun in their own right) seem so impersonal.
im known for being very social.. i love meeting people. i love talking. i love the sessions. i love enjoying an ARROGANT BASTARD with someone... shit, ive even enjoyed the sex from time to time
but its so different when its 2,000 ridaz... 90% or more of the time i wont even see anyone i know. the entire time riding, , , it sucks,...but i dont mind being paired up with an LAPD officer, whether on motorbike or bike, and exchanging route info all night for the betterment of LACM or for the outreach to the beginner ridaz!
im always up for a "desmadroso ride" aka... out of control ride.but LACM is for all.. even those mother effen straight edge brothers and sistah of ours... they truly come out to a peaceful enjoyable socially minded event... and we should think of them.. its not their fault we are hardcore... and some times we get straight laced people here.
