THIS INCLUDES WHEN YOU ARE ON RIDES, AT A LIQUOR STORE, ON YOUR PORCH, AT YOUR SCHOOL.

Gary, IN was a pretty crime-ridden place last time I checked.
Especially after the steel mills shuttered and almost all industrial activity ground to a halt in the mid-80s, it's like the clock has been stuck there ever since.

He's got a point. How many more stories we need to read about someone that doesn't lock their bikes? Or someone that locks it with a cable lock? Same can be said for the helmet vs no helmet whatever you want to call it. It's not a debate, I know that.
I don't know, maybe at the start the people that lost their bikes can state at the start how it was locked or if it even was. Then it could save us from having to read the whole post.

Well, I guess there's one advantage to keeping your bike as badly maintained as Red Foxx's pick up truck.
Anybody tries to take off on mine in the state it's in will fly over the bars and make themselves a road waffle!!!

I agree, tired of people who think their area is safe and nobody will take their ride, YOUR WRONG. It's LA!!! & not locking up their bikes for who knows a "GOOD" reason.
just tell this to yourself, if you:
-LIKE/LOVE your bike
-Is the only transportation you have
-LOVE TO RIDE
-Buy a good LOCK, dont buy them cheapass "CABLE LOCKS".
-Always LOCK YOUR SHIT, Even if its a quick run in to a store.

work well for a quick lock.
They fold up into your back pocket,
and can double as a hipster / punker fashion accessory.
Plus most bitch ass bike thiefs don't carry around a cuff key
but there not recomended for long term lockup.
