We have the park AFTER HOURS from 5-10PM...so that means we can all hang out and celebrate our auto-lite and/or auto-freeness by enjoying food and drink (picnic style) on the grass, watching the sun set behind the downtown skyline while listening to some dope music performed by Triple Chicken Foot and Telematique. 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social. We're timing it to end at the Bike Now "Life Can
Be So Car-free" Event.
Meet at Scoops Ice Cream Parlour at 2pm • 712 N. Heliotrope (next to Bicylce
Kitchen)
Route will head into Little Tokyo and across the river then back to end at the
cornfields just north of Chinatown.
So, if you're driving, you might want to park at end location or just know that this
ride ends at Bike Now. There are trains and buses near there.

Paperboy Race!

START TIME: 9pm
Description: Test your mettle as you pedal through the mean streets of the SFV for the Paperboy race. You have to lug some papers to throw at targets so bring your bags. Grease up your chain and your throwing arm as you have to duck and doge obstacles and hurl papers with accuracy to get to the next check point. We race at 9:00 pm, meet at the universal city metro station. The cost: 2 dollars! (of course). Prizes for winners, good times for all.

We're back again hitting the streets of Hollywood, but this time in our skivies or whatever else you like to sleep in, or not sleep in...
We will be meeting at 9:30 on Friday, September 22nd at the Barnsdall Park at 4807 Hollywood Blvd. We will ride out at 10pm.
We'll take a stop to scarf down some refreshments and end the ride with some Karaoke fun.

Memorial Ride for Ilia Pankin

 So, I know there's already a few rides on Friday, and unfortunetly this one was just announced. On Monday, local messenger and bicycle enthusiast Ilia Pankin was hit and killed in a hit-and-run accident on Santa Monica and Wilshire. The will meet at the intersection of Santa Monica and Wilshire at 9pm. Riders will also meet downtown, at the bridge between 3rd and 5th on Flower at 7pm, or in Santa Monica at

Slain Cyclist Candlelight Vigil

Tonight, in memory of slain cyclist Ilia Pankin a small group of Ridazz will meet for a candlelight vigil at the scene of the hit and run accident that took his life on the corner of Santa Monica and Wilshire. The meeting will take place from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at the fountain in hopes of raising bicycle awareness and to help search for any possible witnesses who may have seen the SUV driver, Peter Kim 39, take off from the scene. Downtown Art Ride

The Downtown Art Ride is a monthly group bicycle ride that coincides with the Downtown Art Walk. Our route takes us to every gallery that takes part in the Walk, except for MOCA Grand and the Central Library. We begin out trip at the Downtown Art Gallery, meeting at 5pm and leaving at 5:30pm. Downtown Art Gallery is located at 1611 S. Hope St.. Free parking is available next to the gallery. Le Tour de Watts Is back! This summer the Tour de Watts will take place on Saturday, August 26th at 9:00am. This ride is Free and all are welcome. Helmets strongly encouraged and are required by law if under 18.
