May 14-18, 2007 is celebrated around the country as Bike to Work Week and on Thursday, May 17, 2007, local cyclists will converge on Hollywood and Western in a demonstration of cycling solidarity.
The Hollywood and Western Pit Stop is hosted by illuminateLA and will offer refreshments, swag and encouragement to cyclists from 7 am to 10 am.

The Spoke(n) Art bicycle ride is a free, once-a-month, bicycle tour of art galleries in North East Los Angeles. The ride takes place on the second Saturday of each month - a special night in North East Los Angeles. Area art galleries open their doors late into the night as part of NELAart's "Gallery Night".
Meet at the flagpole on the corner of Figueroa Street and York Blvd. in Highland Park at around 6:30 p.m.

This ride will be a 4Man Relay Race. Riders will be starting @ 4th N Flower Under the Bridge, where one by one riders will take off to aquire there package for return to there team mates. The first team to aquire the 4 packages and drop wins! It will be a $20 entry fee per team. Riders who have no team are encouraged to arrive early to find other solo riders. The Downtown Art Ride is a monthly group bicycle ride that coincides with the Downtown Art Walk. Our route takes us to nearly every gallery that takes part in the Walk, except for MOCA Grand and the Central Library. We begin our trip at Art Murmur, meeting at 5pm and leaving at 5:30pm.
