Spoke(n) Art Ride SUCKAZZ!!
05.12.07
Saturday
START TIME: 6pm
The Spoke(n) Art bicycle ride is a free, once-a-month, bicycle tour of art galleries in North East Los Angeles. The ride takes place on the second Saturday of each month - a special night in North East Los Angeles. Area art galleries open their doors late into the night as part of NELAart's "Gallery Night".
Meet at the flagpole on the corner of Figueroa Street and York Blvd. in Highland Park at around 6:30 p.m.
The ride departs at 7 p.m. for a series of galleries, shows, private parties, and whatever the evening brings us.
This month we'll be throwing down with another block party - streets closed, BBQ on the curb, light string across the avenue, etc. Veggie food will be available to compliment a fine assortment of the cheapest meats on sale at Superior Market two blocks away. Don't Forget! We'll also be putting on a couple of Armadillo Alley Rat races with some cheap-o but fun-o prizes to the winners, and a chance for street cred by getting your name put on the Bike Oven walls.
Meeting point for the start of the ride:
corner of Figueroa and York at the flagpole
Block Party:
130 W. Avenue 42, Los Angeles, CA
