I saw a few people talking about a route for those in SFV.
I would reccomend taking the redline to LACC. HOWVER it does stop riding at about 12:30AM which is totally fucking weaksauce that our city is this poorly planned but I digress..... the way back for you Ridazz is gonna be a mission..... I saw some Ridazz on Riot that did it....

I hate to mention the "C" would but I think I might through the bike in the trunk and park somewhere in hollywood and ride to SM from there.
Metro shuts down at 12:30 am, which I concur effing 'sucks'.

As a neophyte Rida (this'll be my first ride) coming from the SFV, I might have to throw the bike in the the back of the rolling cage and find a place to park too.
So my question is, where's a good place to park?

park it at the pier.
then ride up to trader joe's and ride back with the crowd.
seriously.
Topanga? Sepulveda? Around the Griffith horn? Each a long ride home.

How about some UCLA freaks starting out behind Helen's Cycles in the alley? Its a relatively short ride down San Vicente or wherever but all you on-campus types could show the freshmen, and freshladies, that a ride to the beach on yer bike is doable. Good way to start the new semester.

just read all the notes suggesting a ucla start point.
maybe they're too busy doing quarters over there instead of semesters. they might want to look into 'sc, quarters might be cheaper over there.

just mapped out a route starting from the CruzWithUs meet-up spot to the pier thru Cahuenga. About 20 miles one way.

Its about 10 miles to Venice & S. La Brea or cut across at Santa Monica Bl. or Melrose to meet up with the unwashed masses at LACC, about 8 mi. from NoHo.

So, are there people riding from the valley to the pier or LACC?

I kinda feel like the lone ranger out here or something.
So here's a plan, meet at the North Hollywood Red Line station, take it to the Vermont/SantaMonica station, and ride to the pier with the eastsidazz from LACC, return thru Cahuenga on our bikes, back to the NoHo station.
Or, get off at hollywood/highland, meet up with the eastsidazz at Venice Bl., and ride back.
Or, being the big bad posengers we know we are, ride from NoHo to the pier and back.
Or, screw all that and just ride or better yet, drive with your buds to the pier, and act like the true antisocial ridaa. No one will know either way.
I'm no hardcore ridaa, I just like to ride my bicycle around when I get the chance, and I think 20 (or 40) miles is rideable. I'll just flop over to SS for the hills and flip back for the flats and if I get dropped by the hardcores, well thats life. As much as I enjoy sleeping, getting home at 3 or 4 in the morning is OK.
Ride On.
Any other ideas?

ride along from LACC bro. what usually happens is you end up clicking up with some other Ridazz from SFV at the pier but you will also prolly end up riding back with a larger group of east bound ridazz on the way to the hollywood. you and the other sfv ridazz can maybe break off at highland or cahuenga or something.... you'll find a crew to roll back with. 40 miles really isnt too bad....

I was going to post this big post but wtf, maybe some of you are going to RideArc, maybe some to the SMCritMass, but I live in the valley, and Paul puts on a good ride, see you at the PedalandPubCrawl.

Here is my two cents. Let it be know somehow that your from the SFV. Maybe we all wear Orange or p[ut a SFV on the back of your shirt. Find each other at the end of the ride and then ride back together. Maybe set a time to meet at a certain place and then ride it back over. Let me know some other suggestions or a meet point.
