Lookin for some people to ride with me out of Echo Park during the week when there aren't organized rides. I ride about every day so come along and let's have beers along the way. Who's down?

ok, here goes my idea, hit me with recommendations and i'll start workin it out (this mostly follows my personal favorite route) :

-ride outta echo park every/certain weekday evening(s) at 7ish from alvarado/sunset.
-head west along sunset (stop at GOOD for Hemp Ale)
-continue west on h'wood (stop at Pig n Whistle)
-continue west to la brea then south to sunset
-west on sunset (stop at Bossa Nova)
-continue west on sunset to fairfax and head south
-continue south on fairfax to melrose and head east (stop at El Guapo, maybe LaLa's or a slice from Albano's * bestoweth upon me the heavenly pie*).
-back west on melrose to Fairfax and shoot south again down to wilshire.
go east on wilshire past LACMA, CAFAM, etc (there are events coming up at both so these would be good stops too)

what's been the past experience at good distances for pub rides? i don't wanna get mofos stranded halfway across town...input wanted.

again, i'd love some input from ridazz who've done pub rides. what's a good distance...? i'd like to plan this- but wisely and responsibly.

ride for about 15 miles, stop, cuz you're thirsty by then, for one beer or a quick second beer as well, ride for another 5-10 miles, then stop again just before the end of the ride for one for the road.

thanx dave. that sounds like it'll work. i figure i'll make it a loop so all the drunkzz will end up where they started- hopefully that's a good plan...as long as the drunkzz aren't driving.

This sounds like a great idea. There are TONS of bars in this town, so the possibilities are endless. Any room for a lady to come along?

I'll ride Tuesdays and Thursdays. Unless I have somewhere to go I don't ride by myself. It would be fun to ride with someone on these off days.
