 This will be a training ride designed to prepare for Feel My Legs, I'm a Racer 2009 on March 14th. HILL INTERVALS is the theme here and so we will be climbing some short steep ones on the westside. The format will be similar to the event on March 14th in that we will be riding to each hill, waiting to gather everyone, climbing to the top, waiting to gather everyone, riding together to the next hill, repeat..... We are trying to gather up some money to donate to people with muscular dystrophy. There will be food and drinks. This is a chill ride less than 20 miles. Fun ride to bring the kids on. We ask that everyone donates some money but not much so we could help some families out.

On Saturday, March 7, 2009, Lance Armstrong, Nike and friends will gather for the launch of a global art project that addresses Livestrong’s battle against cancer and Armstrong’s return to the bike. Festivities kick-off with a 2-mile ride (beginning at 5:30pm) from The Children’s Hospital LA and end at The Montalbán theatre in Hollywood. At the theatre Lance will talk about his re-entry into professional cycling and officially announce this project with the help of several of the contributing artists.
