This sunday is the freedom ride. Its time to meet those other black kids you see whizzing passed on these streets of LA.
We\'ll meet in the VONS parking lot on the corner of fairfax and pico at noon. We will ride out at 1pm.
This will be a medium paced ride. Not to many hills. We will end in the same place as we started and then grab some food over at sky\'s taco down the street.
Please tell the folks who don\'t know. It feels better and better as we get bigger and bigger.

 I havent gotten to my favorite video store just yet so at this point we are in the surprise state. bring a movie and we'll thumb wrestle for it, I mean to show it. Sunday when it gets dark at 8ish. Fair warning this is the last bike in movie for a month. Since Coaster brake challenge will happen in the month of July at 5pm. All usual events I put on at the oven will not happen due to the coaster brake challenge.  We just started this ride in Valencia. Our first ride was Saturday June 6th and we had a whopping 12 riders. We ride to our local hot spots for drinks and fun. This Car-Free Friday will highlight some of our recent campaigns and Actions. It will also kickoff the start of the new Silver Lake/Echo Park Livable Streets Chapter of LACBC. The June 26th Car-free Friday ride will spotlight roads we want prioritized in the Bike Plan, painted with Sharrows in and around Silverlake and Echo Park.
