i think canter's is open till 1AM.
that place is pretty shady though.
shady regarding the way they handle foods.
they had to deal with the city a lot for endangering public health from the mid 90's to early 2000's.
one of the filthiest kitchens in the greater LA area.
on a side note, i think their food is way overpriced.
$13 for a ruben sandwich and a picke spear.
idk bout that one.

"East Side" 24hr Diners:
The Brite Spot - Echo Park
Piper's - on Western, just south of Beverly.
Astro Burger - Silver Lake
Fred 62 - Los Feliz
um, IHOP?
Around Koreatown, there's also:
Hodori - Olympic and Vermont
BCD Tofu House - on Wilshire/Kingsley or Western/James M. Wood
Pho 2000 - On Western, south of Beverly (maybe not 24hrs, but open pretty late)
Taco trucks near 3rd/Vermont (one of 'em is usually open 'til 3, I think, at least on weekends)
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. As a rule, I find that anything eaten after a long ride late at night is going to taste pretty damned good. If I didn't pack enough food along with me on the ride, I usually just head for the taco trucks because they're fast and cheap.

@rbi
yeah, they say they're kosher.
doesn't mean they practice it.
the whole thing has been brought up about 3 times in all my public health classes.

Astro Burger at Santa Monica Boulevard and Vista. Anything you could ever want to eat. I think it might be open twenty-four hours (I've never seen it closed). Cash only. There's one of those cheap bike racks outside, but just sit outside and keep an eye on your steed. When it's empty and late enough they've let me bring my bike inside. And if you go at the right time on a Saturday night, lots of funny club chicks to check out/make fun of ; }

Lucky Boys, I remember having to feed eddieboy over there a few times before dragging him out to some CRANK Mobs.
I almost got smacked by a random hottie who was literally giving herself away with those revealing outfits.

Anyone know how to make one of those google maps for 24hr food joints like that map that shows where all the ridazz live? That would be the bee's knees.
