WHAT'S UP:
Our afterparty location flaked out on us so right now we are without an afterparty venue.
But fear not... instead we will crash a couple block parties in the area after the fireworks (and probably end up going for a midnight swim like last year).
Funderstorm is still set to play their last LA performance FOREVER... maybe not forever.
If you plan on coming to the pool party during the day, please
RSVP. This will be a potluck BBQ so bring something for the grill and don't forget the drinks.
THIS IS GONNA BE THE SUPER DUPER WEEKEND OF FUNMERICA!

K,
I suggest we (you guys) crash our Friend of the Friendless, Chet's place. He was happy to have us the first time, so why not a 2nd?

And K, could you check the route? Not sure if its Google Maps or your specific route, but the page gets cut off for me half way. Weird.
Thanks

Being a Henson puppeteer back in the day must have been the world's greatest job - assuming they were ever sober enough to remember it. No way they made that without chemical aids!

Back in the mid nineties, i shot a commercial with Kermit the Frog. (one of the little highlights of my Film Biz career) He was the Spokesfrog for the U.S. mint when they introduced the new Quarters with the State created backs.
At the end of the job, Kermit had such a good time that he broke character a little and started singing 'Why don't we do it in the Road" by the Beatles. I still have that on DVD. I'll see if i can burn it and put it up on youtube....

did anyone get pictures of that wedding couple in the middle of main street? It was on the SMCM portion of the ride festivities and the ride surrounded their shoot. the photographers were snapping away with us as the back drop! that could never be duplicated. wow.

hey spiral what camera is that? it's waterproof out of the box or did you have to get a special kit to convert it?

the Olympus Stylus 770SW is waterproof, shockproof, and crush proof out of the box. Like most compact point and shoot cameras, it's no good at night.
