I cant believe how much fun bike polo is people. go due et. have funs.
I'm converting my mtn bike into a bike polo bike. can I just lock it up at the 818 rink?

Man I've been wanting to try it for so long. Anyone in the 818 have a bike I could use one of these days?

@ RB - I don't recommend leaving your bike there. But yes, polo is amazing fun and addictive. I almost wrote "pollo" instead of polo.

After the parking structure me & andres went to tacos mexico. we thought that's where everyone was going. matt showed up eventually but no one else did. we had waited at the bottom of the parking structure for a while but no one came so we thought you guys went out the other side.

My polo bike can be borrowed by anyone when I'm not on the court.
Locking up at the rink doesn't sound like a good idea though. I'm just keeping my front derailleur on so I can switch gears from the court to the ride home.

ok I guess I'm going to have to convert that mtb into a single speed.... hmmmmmm damn all this work to play some bizzle pizzle.
I'm also looking to put together a squad to rep the east hollywood.... or do people just show up and form teams on the spot?

You don't need a single speed- I've still got all the gears (somewhat) functional on my bike. You just have to be willing to smash them up. Also, we play with whoever's there- if you want a specific East LA team, save it for the big tourneys.

back to the thread.
i'm building up this mountain bike as my commuter bike. it's nice and somewhat bomb proof. got rid of the front derailleur and triple chainring and turned it into a 7 speed with road cranks and one chainring, put some slick on the 26 inch tires and i'm chopping the handlebars. sounds like it would be pretty good for polo. chyeah!
