I smell some extra-judicial punishment in the works for this fruitcake.
The way the justice system is going now, it's only going to be a matter of time before slashed LE budgets and flared tempers bring back the vigilante squads.

There is an online petition asking the DA to not drop the felony charges against the hit-and-run driver.
