I dedicate this to palucha66.

I can't tell if I am pleased because this might mean more folks on bikes, if I am disgusted because well, it's Urban Outfitters, if I am terrified because there will be more kids on bikes talking on their cell phones and listening to their iPods without brakes, or if I am curious to see what the "OG fixters" will start riding now that the fixie is officially passé. (Could that have been done with semi-colons?)

on many of the rides, there are SO many urban outfitter consumers, wearing their cheap gear and playing with their lomo cameras.


if anything, it was expected.


maybe u should start calling people out when u see these bikes on rides.

 I don't really feel the need to call someone out for their bike unless they are being a dumbass on it.

Urban Outfitters makes some stuff that I would buy...if it weren't overpriced garbage peddled by a H8 supporter.

Of course it's no surprise that they've co-opted the fixie - that's how trends operate. And that's not to say that a fixed gear bike is a bad thing nor that everyone who rides em is following the fad.

And if it gets more people on bikes, then good!!!
