 WHAT: A 10 mile social bike ride at a slow to moderate pace through the streets and neighborhoods of Hermosa and Redondo Beach. We will ride to a special pirate/dance mix coming from the soul cycle stereo system. We will finish off with a barbecue and karaoke at Valley Park in Hermosa Beach.

We will wear our bathrobes and ride til its time to sit down and sip on some white russians. If you dont know the rules of the Leboski Challenge, they go like this: Sit down and put in the Lebowski, and everytime the dude smokes a joint, you do the same. And every time the dude drinks a white russian, you do the same.
This really sunk up on me so depending on who shows up well decide what we wanna do. Meet at 9:30 ride 10ish from McDonalds on Venice/ Overland.

 The best bertday present I got this year, was the discovery of qualified bike polo riders in the Valley.
So begins a new era of Polo. Monday nights, starting tonite at 7 pm, we play where it all began in the parking lot North of the Hockey Rink in Amelia Earheart Library Park. East of Colfax and the 170 freeway, just south of Chandler. A convenient location, less than a mile from the NoHo metro station, for those who wish to visit from the other side of the hill.

Tern is leaving for an extended trip to the East Coast, and we’re throwing a going away ride and party for him.
Saturday, June 14
Meet at Echo Park Lake at 9:30 am (yes, am)
Roll out at 10 am sharp
We will follow the classic “Dark Century” course through Hollywood, L.A., Vernon, the L.A. River bike path, Long Beach, the San Gabriel River bike path, Duarte, Pasadena, Highland Park, Echo Park.
Kind of a daylight dark century ride.
Total distance is about 104 miles and we will be riding at a brisk clip (15-19 mph) most of the way.

 WHAT: A community walk and bike tour/meeting to assess the bikability and walkability to the Compton Metro Blue Line Station. The community meeting is part of a comprehensive study of existing conditions and recommendations for improvements at transit hubs across the Los Angeles County.
