The Bicycle Tree Pancake Breakfast and Bike Ride

 The Bicycle Tree, an Orange County nonprofit group working to establish a public bike facility, is hosting a pancake breakfast fund raiser.
Vegan menu available.
There will be a ride to the beach and back (about 25 miles round trip) at 10:30 am

 FOR PARKING DAY Chicken leather is leading a tour of most of the one day Parking Day sites.
Meet at Eco village on bimini and 1st .9:30 AM We'll bring some donuts and coffee and get jacked up
so we can ride to most of the Parks in hollywood, downtown. We'll stop at farmlab for free lunch and lecture
and then continue on to maybe 4 to 5pm. If anyone wants to visit specific parks we'll play it by ear.

Cogwebbz...South Gate Ride

 I set my phaser to "pun," and came up with the Cogwebbz. Forgive my cheesiness.
South Gate, Cudahy, Bell, Maywood, Huntington Park, Florence, Walnut Park. About 12 miles.
Since there are no rides where I live, I decided to start one.
This is my first ride, so I don't expect to have big numbers, but I will ride alone if I have to. But hopefully not.
It won't be very fast paced (slightly faster than a cruise), so beginners are very much welcome.
We will meet at Roosevelt Park, on the corner of Nadeau and Graham. Its just South of the Blue Line Florence Station.

Thursday Night Raccoon Kit Ride

The idea is to provide a ride for people trying to get faster but can't quite keep up with the Raccoon ride so I'll be trying to incorporate some decent speeds and a bit of climbing. I would also like to start doing some longer routes towards the end of the month to get distance training in.
Where: Mission Street Gold Line Station, Mission St and Meridian Ave.
When: Meet at 8pm roll at 8:30.
Current Route
Depending on who shows up we might add something to the route to make it longer or make it shorter, who knows I try to match the route to the people riding.

As the sun last glow fades over a craggy foothill’s silhouette, a rag-tag band of ridazz will take their chances battling oncoming commuters as they snake their way up the winding s-curves into Downtown Topanga.  The Hustle Ride rolls out every Monday from Tang's Donut on Sunset and Fountain in Silverlake at 10pm. The routes change up from week to week and cover wide swaths of territory. Riders that participate will experience a completely different Los Angeles than most trapped in their coffins will ever know. Distances range in length from 25-50 miles. We would start at 8:30am meet at Giffith Park Pony Rides
Crystal Springs Dr. at Los Feliz Blvd, Los Angeles Enter park from Los Feliz. Pony Rides are on the right. Park in first lot along side of road.
Ride from there to China Town for total 20 miles.....some bike trails and some street ride.....if you still full of energy, we could easily ride to Santa Monica from there....want to see the beach on Sunday???
