That's right, the DTLA GRAND PRIX is happening again this year. With a repeat of some courses from last year, and a couple new ones. For those of you who don't know, the DTLA Grand Prix is a series of criterium races (lapped courses). We will have racers do an undisclosed amount of laps around a set course in DTLA. Those who don't race, this is always an awesome spectator event. We will kick off the first race @ The Bridge in DTLA. We will run the all time favorite, Bunker Hill Crit Race as our first course. **This ride will alternate every other week from Monday & Wednesday.
Weekly ride meet at 7:30 at the Commerce shopping center in front of the Right Aid pharmacy.
Located near the corner of Goodrich and Whittier. Less than a mile away from Monterey Park and Montebello, yards away from East LA.
Fixed and road only! All types of riders welcomed and drinking is not discouraged.
The pace Will be moderate and no rider will get left behind.
Please bring the essentials tubes, lights, tools etc.
This ride will head to Pasadena.

VELO DU ELDO

 Although a lot of us don’t have easy access to our local velodromes, we do have easy access to some premier crit racing locations that host some of the best CAT1/pros.
El Dorado park is one of them, and has a huge 1.75 mile smooth car-free loop that has been hosting Crit races for decades. For over a month me and some other 5fix2 guys have been using the course at night when it’s empty to train for the upcoming all city race. It’s been an intense 60 minutes that has proved difficult for many to finish.
We have decided to keep this going and kick off our new weekly Wednesdays rid...

This Sunday's theme is HOT AND BOTHERED! So make sure to throw on your bikinis or wear something you don't mind getting wet in, cuz we're taking a chill ass ride to an awesome park in Huntington Park! There's a skatepark in the park, so feel free to bring your boards or do some tricks. We are also going to have a park obstacle coarse, wet t-shirt contest (you're not down), dodgeball and soccer game. So bring the FUN!
