Sexy and Big sexy got in a big car accident last night.Totaled the car.
Sexy left limping pretty bad and Big Sexy had debri to her face fortunetly nothing major...

I think there was another accident involving Ludovic (French guy who was riding with his German friend, Heiko). Apparently, HANDBONE saw everything and now we're just trying to find out if Ludovic is okay, or if he was the person who was hit by a car.

Yes our accident was pretty vicious last night. I was just glad, we where not hurt too bad. BigSexxy's face is little banged up, not as bad as she say it feels, so I guess that is better then it looking like she say it feels. She got her bruised all over her chest, and her ribs banged up. She is feeling that post accident pains all over her body right now, tho she was able to get up and move around today. The Doctor took x-rays, they where concerned about lungs being punctured, but luckily they are not. All over she is feeling all over banged around.
Harry was driving behind us and witnessed the whole thing, lucky for that. As always Harry played the Saint with the funny accent.
He kept'd a watch over us after the accident , handle things with the police, got our bikes and stuff out of Bigsexxy's car. He help me keep my composure after the accident, got us water, snacks, and took Bigsexxy to the bathroom. He then drove her over to Cedars to drop her off in the emergency room. This being that he had to be up at six to go to work. THANKS HARRY million thanks.
Then we didn't know what to do with the car, or where to tow it to.
The police weren't being a-holes at all, they where mellow. The PD had to stay until the car was out of the street, we all had no idea of what to do. So I looked at my phone contacts to see who could tell me what to do. DEE SIMPLE pops up in my contacts and i thought, he will know what to do, he has a car. I call him, sure enough, he offers his AAA, calls it in for us and drive over to get it squared away with the tow drivers.
Yes, "tow drivers" a whole slew of them, we had one coming and then another who wanted to steal the job. We eventually get the first one to come to tow it, but he can't leave the area to take it to my house, so I think Dee tried to get the ones who was trying to steal the job from the first one, and then we end up with a completely different truck that takes the car back to GH.
THANKS DEE SIMPLE, you came through big time.
I'am lucky, or not so lucky it is just my foot. It felt like I sprained it last night, but as the night went on it started to hurt more and more.
After the car gets to my house at 6am, I head over to Cedars to pick up Jane, and go in and get myself examined. The doctor checked me head to toe, no aches, no pain, accept my foot. By this time the pain in my foot is getting really bad. They X-ray the foot, and sure enough a little fracture. Its not major, but it hurts bad. They wrapped it up in a splint. I have to get a cast this week. This has been hurting really bad, the doctor prescribed my oxycoden, I almost fainted in the drug store when I saw the pill bottle, thinking how people get addicted to it,. I started making Rush Limbal jokes, while feeling light head. The pharmacist eased my concern by saying it wasn't enough to get strung out on it. I told him if he is wrong, he has a customer for life. I haven't taken any yet, and the pain is easing up a little.
Luckily I had an old pair of crutches in the garage. the only problem is that they are an inch too short, the highest they go up to is 5'10" and i'm 5'11". If anybody has taller ones I can barrow I would really appreciate it.

Fucking shit....I can't believe that happened to you guys. Thank you Dee and Harry for coming to the rescue here. handbone, can you tell the full story? i just came back from the poker run in the desert and the grapevine out there reported that someone actually died at SnS. so to sum up... the sexys were in a car wreck, franz is in jail and a german or a french guy was hit by a car. what a weekend!! to my knowledge, i left everyone healthy and intact in the desert.

Nobody died but a german guy hit a car on temple & glendale around 4 30 after S&S. No rumors, thats what happened, it was a serious accident but i'm told he's doing better now. Didnt mean to scare anyone, i was extremely shook myself.

UPDATE, YA HE TOOK A SPILL, HE PANICKED COMING DOWN A HILL, WAS NOT HIT BY A CAR, FRONT BRAKE LOCK, AT A FAST SPEED, AND NOW YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. ONE IS BABY-SITTING THE OTHER, SEEMS TO BE OK, FOR NOW, HEAD-BANG INJURY.
REMEMBER THIS: WHEN SMASHING A HILL, DO NOT SLAM ON YOUR FRONT BRAKE, WITH OUT SLOWING DOWN OR USING YOUR BACK TOGETHER, FIXIE FOOLS DON'T LISTEN TO ME.

It wasn't Ludo that went OTB friday it was Heiko (the german guy). Ludo and Handbone were behind and saw it happen. Heiko spent the night in the emergency room with a bad cut on the head and a concussion. He is wake now and staying at Ludo's house until he is okay to go home At first he was having trouble remembering things but seems more alert now. WEAR A HELMET KIDS.

It obviously been a weekend with a lot of drama: sexy and bigsexy's accident, Franz in jail, and this accident on the way home from S & S. My concern goes out to all those affected; we are a small enough group that when shit happens we are all feel it.
But I also want to express my concern for what seems to be an unnecessarily rampant rumor mill. In the case of the S & S accident, it has gone from a French guy being killed to a German guy with a concussion and a head wound. Big difference! I don't know how these things get started or passed on and I have no interest in pointing fingers, but perhaps we need to be a bit more careful about passing info on until the facts are known.
I'm not angry, I'm just sayin' . . .

it wasnt rumors, it was misunderstanding and it got out of control once it hit the forum. i was involved in the accident and knew what happened, i was just trying to keep it off the internet out of respect for the people involved.
once again we got a pretty quick update and have the clear story.
sorry if anyone got scared, but heiko did get injured pretty seriously none the less. im looking forward to hearing he's doing better.

Handbone, I appreciate the info that you were able to provide and I'm not trying to minimize the extent of Heiko's injuries, but what I was referring to was the implication that there had been a fatal accident.
Like I said, at some point somebody passed on some information that was obviously untrue (for whatever reason) and I think in this case especially it only served to upset people.

Yeah, the fatality rumor made it all the way out to the low desert today. It was pretty scary to hear but now that I've gotten this far through MR I'm relieved to see that everyone will be ok.

Again, I'm not discounting the seriousness of the injury, I just don't like people freaking out beyond what's called for.

so crazy! i met Ludovic at the end of the ride on friday. really sweet but really shy. i remember him saying he was with a friend.
i'm so sad they were both hurt and i hope his friend recovers quickly.
i hate the dangers that come with riding. i almost got hit on sat by an angry driver. this world makes me sad sometimes.
and then to find out about sexy and bigsexy. so sad. i'm glad everyone lived, but i hope they recover quickly as well.

Actually your English is just fine, far better than what is required on MR. It's great to hear that all will recover. I like others are a bit concerned how this got from a single bike accident, to a car vs bike accident. The word handed down from me out in the desert from Harry was that this was a bicyclist running a red light and then hit by a car. The rider either died at the scene or shortly after that. How does a miscommunication like this accord? I'm not asking you in particular, I'm asking everyone. Then there was word last night that this was a hoax.
Hoaxes are suppose to be harrr harrrr harrrr (meaning funny) at the end for everyone.

If you are going to post something get/post the facts. I think it's ok to post about an accident (HANDBONE), letting the other riders know what you know. THis way those that can respond with help know about it. Just avoid rumours starting!

Damn Allan, it's 2.10am here and time for bed I have to fly tomorrow.........but I'll look in to the grappa. Ask the hotel where I can get somme decent stuff. The local restaurants are dream. 'Waiting' here is a career and the folks are paid a 'salary'!!! Just try getting a check. Dinnig out here is the whole evening, not just a hunger quencher. No chain restaurants or fast food places yipee!!!
