road, fixed vs road). Bring tubes, patch kits, tools, helmets (necessary if under 18), etc.

Winner gets a unique spoke card and bragging rights. We'll be holding these races all over LA/OC, if you

Meet at the Metro station at Vermont and Wilshire 6:30pm. Ride at 7 pm
Stop at Leela Thai Restaurant (they have live music now) -- 1737 Silver Lake Boulevard 90026. We'll hang out there and maybe eat, then people can check out Spaceland, Echo, Silverlake Lounge, etc. as a group or split up. We can keep riding after the shows or not... the night will unfold as it will.

 We wanted to throw a benefit race for people who need help in Japan. Then we were asked to join forces with
another benefit party being
hosted/ sponsored by others in the Los Angeles Cycling/ Arts/ Creative Community, to create one huge
day of giving back and helping
those in need in Japan.
All the donations will go directly to the American Red Cross.
All type of bikes are welcome, no motors.

Location: Highland Park Metro Station
We'll meet just outside the station on the sidewalk between Ave 57 and Ave 59.
Join us for a dumpster bike tour of Highland Park and vicinity. We will meet at the park, and ride to
supermarket dumpsters, where we will rescue good food.
The ride will have two or three stops and will be about 10 miles long.
After the ride we will be cook a meal together at a house near the start. We will start cooking at around
11:00 and will finish around 2:00 AM.
