Dumpster Ride and Freegan Meal

Dumpster Ride and Freegan Meal
Saturday, March 26th, 8:30 PM

Meet: 8:30 PM
Roll: 9:00 PM
Location: Highland Park Metro Station
We'll meet just outside the station on the sidewalk between Ave 57 and Ave 59.

Join us for a dumpster bike tour of Highland Park and vicinity. We will meet at the park, and ride to
supermarket dumpsters, where we will rescue good food.
The ride will have two or three stops and will be about 10 miles long.

After the ride we will be cook a meal together at a house near the start. We will start cooking at around
11:00 and will finish around 2:00 AM.

Please bring panniers or a trailer on your bike, if possible. Otherwise, bring bags and/or a backpack to carry
food home.

We can also use a driver to carry excess food, as sometimes we rescue a truck load of food. Call if you can
drive.

Bring: A bike in good working order
Lights for your bike
Paniers or a trailer (if you can)
A flashlight
