Bike Ride from East Los Angeles to Long Beach & Learn about Some sweet projects taking place in LA
This Bike Ride will meet at 9 am from Vernon’s Los Angeles River Bike path.
For those who cannot make the early 9am start, the ride will have its first stop at Maywood Riverfront Park and will wait till 10am for those who cant make the early start.
We will ride 7.2 miles to our 1st stop at Ralph C. Dills Park, where we will have Story telling to inform riders on projects that pertain to summer solutions program. Such as the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal Campaign and PETA

remember talking to some of you back then, and a lot of us feeling that our activism was practice for
something bigger. And then one month later Occupy LA happened. After an eventful winter, Spring is here,
and things are about to get epic.
On May 1st, Occupy is teaming up with immigrant rights groups and labor unions to shut down the city
and remind the 1% how powerful the people are when they unite and hit the street at the same time. There
