Time to get everyone ready for the spring/ summer time races.
Every Friday night in February, TOLA x Chicken Hawk Racing will be
throwing a different style of street race. The races consist of a crit, a there and back, sprints, then the final Friday will be a huge
checkpoint race.
Top three winners of each race leading up to the final checkpoint race, will get a starting time bonus. That means the top three winners
in each race will get to start sooner then everyone else in the final race. So you really want to get out there and win.

Good day everyone! Hope that the new year is going well for all. Anyways, this month, since it is still WAY TOO COLD to ride around at night (next month too), we will be having another day ride on the Pacific Electric Bike Trail.

everything. There's enough stuff to fill a 10' truck, so I'll need help. Bring your cargo bike, or bike trailer and
we'll show the city of Los Angeles how much stuff can be moved by bicycle.

 The first Watts Happening Ride I organized five years ago was a simple there-and-back to Watts Towers from the Cornfield downtown, spurred on by the lamentable fact that as a native angeleno I had spent my whole life to-date never having been to the true treasure that is the amazing, inspiring and enduring work of Simon Rodia.
In its various editions since, the Watts Happening Ride's destinations have grown well beyond the iconic towers to include a variety of landmarks involving people, places and events in and around South Los Angeles.

Meet up at the Pierce Orange Line Station (West Side), Winnetka/Victory, by the Bike Lockers. Look for the
bikes.
Meet 8:30pm / Roll 9:30pm
Route: 10-30+ miles. Pace: Medium, 15-20mph. 1-2 stops. Maybe some hills. We will try to get back
to a major line, Orange, Red, so people can get home if they too tired or live far.
