All City Toy Ride II

Is anybody interested in doing the Christmas toy collection ride again this year? The logical date would be December 14.
I thought the converging ride was a great idea. I'd be up for putting together a spoke from Pasadena/SGV.

Ya all going to start doing the same thing every year. Change is shiott up a little bit. Enough sequles, what you think this is Hollywood?
I forgot, Wink M. is running this game.
All right, just pass me the mirror and the rolled up hundred dolla bill yal,
and put my bourbon on the rock.

Hey all
Last year's crew started brainstorming and were goona post it tomorrow.
We met up before the "Muertos Ride" and have the food , dJ ,spoke cards will ask some peeps to see if they wanna volunteer to head up different routes.
Wanted to point out that Raymond is using the money left over from the La Noche ride to cover spoke card costs, etc.
No one is making a profit on shirts..all going back to rides.
Will post tomorrow..
Nix..hit me up if you wanna help us out
All- Like last year, the biggest issue is finding a place to hold the toy drop off /party.If anyone has a spot or knows a solid lead on a venue.
Please hit me up.

Helping the needy is so 2006.
If nobody else has stepped up yet, I volunteer to be cat herder, scout, and spoke card maker for the Southsidazz feeder ride. This event is close to my heart. It has got to happen again this year.
MR All-City Toy Ride II is on, busters. It's ON!

"South side" meaning the southern tip of LA County--San Pedro, Long Beach, Wilmington, Carson, Signal Hill, Lomita, etc., and everywhere in between that area and the convergence point. Last year the south side ride started in downtown Long Beach and went up the river path, ending up at the plaza at Olvera Street.

Yes! Let's do the all-city toy ride again! That was such a fun ride, and honestly, I love the fact that it was charitable. I teach school and there's lots of kids who need toys/books who wouldn't otherwise get them. Let's ride!

I got a trailer I can bring and we could load that think up. Should be able to get alot more stuff in that than what we brought. Anyways I plan to triple my donation from last year.

Oh I forgot, if you're looking for a place to do this gig, why not approach FarmLab? Those are the people from Not a Corn Field for those that might not know.

I have been confirmed, by the shadowy cabal in charge of such things, as the cat herder for the South Sidazz route. My tentative plan is to start it at Lincoln Park in downtown Long Beach, a block away from the Blue Line (it's where the Bicycle Bell Ensemble met for the Soundwalk performance), unless popular demand demands otherwise.
Thoughts, comments, suggestions, and animadversions are welcome and are actively sought.

OK kids, check this out.
I was at the FarmLab, www.farmlab.org last Friday and had a chance to talk to one of the organizers there. I explained what we did last year at KGB's and that we wanted to do the same this year. I asked what they had that they can offer and it sounds sweet. They can offer the space under Spring, called surprisingly enough, Under Spring. The best shot I could find was this,
http://farmlab.org/uploaded_images/AonP_1_card_front_FINAL-791852-709882.jpg
If you were on the last Ride Arc, we stopped at this spot. What this offers is a small stage, 1-2 indoor bathrooms, some port-a-potties, two fire pits, and I think electric power. What we have to do is submit a proposal. They don't need something elaborate, just something that would sum up what is expected and needed.
If you haven't been to this spot, you got to check it out. It's a nice secluded spot that offers a chance to party hassle free. There's no neighbors around and we can party way past 2!
The person I talked to knew about MR and if it was up to him it would be a go. They meet to do their group governing decisions every Wednesday. What we need to do is submit a simple proposal by this Wednesday. Is there a copy of the proposal from last year? Does this space sound like it will work? Is there any other spaces offered up? Personally I think this space kicks ass!

Yeah User1,
Good looking out.As we spoke on Sat. Let me know a contact #,name ,email or where we can drop off proposal. I can have it by Monday.
Let me know if you want to go and drop it off or speak them so we can seal the deal.
Good work.
So far this is the best lead we have since other places are still pending confirmation but seem iffy!
