Yes, another girl is ROTW for the second time! My nomination goes to Annie, truly a solid rida, numerous sexiest photo winner, and a great jumpropist. Always has a warm and friendly attitude - and NEVER a dull moment!
This girl has done it all, she can do 1000ft hill climbs, centuries, can trackstand fixed, cubcamps, bicykills, is a friend of Franz, yet parties with the best of us! She is also very brave, at one point she even lived in the valley!
She has traveled all over the world, but many do not know that she was a NYC bicycle messenger back in the day, (maybe thats why she kicks my butt on fast rides!)
Im thinking of starting a VeganBananaPenis ride in honor of her!

Yay Annie! I met any at my first GOGA ride... she was takin photos of all the ladies. She makes a newbie feel really welcome, and god knows she's got more energy in one finger than most people have in their entire being. Congrats on being ROTW!

I was thinking about fondest memories of Annie thread.
People can give their fondest/funniest moments of Annie
I remember I had seen her a couple of times before, but never talked with her. She was making crazy animal noises. I was riding with Dingo, and we where commenting on her craziness and her fancy outfits. Dingo rides over to her and asked her whats her name is...
Annie response in a noise that sounds like a turkey she says "turkey", Dingo says "no, really what your name?" she says in her turkey voice again "Turkey".
This went on a few more times before Dingo gave up.

Yay Annie!
One of my favorite memories with Annie was riding our bikes into the Hollywood Park Casino and out to the horse track on Cubscouts. When the security finally caught up with us, she joked around with them and feigned arrest. They let us go and even said we could come back on Thursday, but that is a whole other story...

My first interaction with Annie was in a GoGA thread on this page. She posted a picture of a cactus that looked lika a cock and balls, under which I posted "^^^^ I like this chick." Her response? "I'm not a chick, I'm a dick," with a picture of a rock that looked like a penis.
From my perspective, it was love at first penis joke. The fact that I push myself every time I get on my bike because I want to be as strong of a rider as her is a whole other story.

My first time meeting Annie was at the New Years Day Ride 2007. The first sweet words I heard from her were, "Why are there soo many stops?!?!" And that's how I got hooked...

but the reality was that i was bored, so antonio and i rode home.

Annie is rad! I remember the first time I met her (aww.. jizz) was after NELA art ride/Dak’s bday after-party, she came up with an obstacle course/bike race and I am convinced she beat me only because I was trying to be reaaaaally respectful and not look up her skirt when we were under the van…;) I had a blast and she was super sweet to me! I was impressed by her style and her riding… it was nice meeting some female riders as I was new to the community and didn’t really know any other girl riders other than the TWBG girls.

thanks sexy! i'll get rid of clothes if they rip from my carelessness or get too dirty from arm pit stains, chain grease, ink, etc.

maybe one time, i had a white plastic trash bag shirt that i couldn't get to stay on, so i switched it with a white blazer instead (photo from alley cat to dada ride).

animals are damn cute. when people behave like animals, but not like animals, it really makes me feel giddy.
sealy says hi. he asks about you when we have pillow talk. i've only owned a green parakeet named dickxie (i was in the 6th grade when i came up with the retarted spelling). i sometimes take care of friends' dogs and cats when they're out of town.

anytime you see me dancing, i'm serious. but if you're referring to technical training, i currently cannot afford it.

excellent question. i figured if anyone would ask such a question, it would be you.
i was brought up by a traditional chinese mom, who i felt was hypocritical and insincere with relatives and others. i also went to school with a bunch of ballerinas who, at an early age, are taught to literally 'shut up and dance'. so i broke from tradition and feel really good about myself. i also had a really influential professor who constantly encouraged it; even if it meant possibly hurting someone's feelings.
also, i'd rather have friends who are not afraid of speaking their mind, and are not afraid their peers potentially despising them. which is why i have a secret crush on PC (sometimes).
2. Also, do you actually own a fixed gear bike, or are you just into screwing around on everybody else's?
no, i do not own a fixed gear bike. i 'screw around' everybody else's because i'm too poor to build my own.

Ooh, that's a tough one. France was so beautiful and romantic, but China was really incredible. i also had some really amazing high school students who taught me a lot about their country and their people.

Some of my favorite moments above many was when Annie was at the Bicrowave during a polo match in the pits there. She had that organ with the mouth piece and she found the perfect, I mean PERFECT pitch of a car horn. She was playing it like some child that found a new toy when they hit the horn on a car. It was bugging the shit out these two chicks that was there next to me. It was bugging so much that they went up to Annie to ask her to stop. Obviously not a regular on the ride! Not sure what went down at the conversation, it would have been nice to be a fly at that moment! ;-)

I rode my first century with Annie ... here she is goofing off while tern was off fetching a spare tube from a local shop.
btw/ homegirl rode the century on her old bike. It was lightly heavy, kind of squeeky, had lightly treaded tires, and platform pedals. She was one of the front ridaaz at all times. maybe its the iPod ... what are you listening to on there anyways?
