Your famous now! Time to quit that job and start making the real monies as a bicycling Mariachi!
Believe it or not there is high demand for such talents! I hear they are making a new reality tv show about them.

I still read the LA Times (treeware edition) but I have a new sport these days: how many mistakes can I find?

i got thur - sun for $1 a week recently. i miss the herald examiner. my first job was a paper route for the herald in my area. my dad would drive me around on the rainy days. today is his 72nd birthday. We had a nice telephone conversation earlier . He was stoked to see my picture. He mailed a copy of the whole issue to both my brothers in the bay area.

HERALD EXAMINER, Jesus Christ Man, Your living in the past.
I had a afternoon Herald route and morning Valley News route.
Those LATimes people where delivering in cars, long ago, kept us kids out.
Glad to here you have fond memories of your father, and got to communicate with him today, Happy Birthday.
When it rained, we had to bag our papers in those plastic liners they would give us, and we got soaked. No way my Dad was going to drive us around, well he did a couple of times.. I don't remember it being that big of a problem, it was actually really fun, and easier to put it in the bags instead of placing the rubber band around the paper.
The big problem was always collecting, Oh God, COLLECTING! Every month
Do you remember when the Herald switch to car delivers, where you still delivering then?

i was probably like 12 or 13 when i did the herald deliveries. remember those white canvas bags we had to wear around us like a poncho? i hated that job. fold-fold-rubberband, fold-fold-rubberband...same shit every time.
