Get ready! We have planned the most funnest ride of november!
This is a half bicycle ride/ half dance party! We are going to ride
from parking lot to parking lot each time dancing when we stop.
There is one college we will ride to, and one huge 3 story parking
structure also.
If you dont like dancing, then you are welcomed to do
bmx/mountain bike stunts, fixie tricks, drag race or just drink or
smokeout (yes, i said it!) when we are stopped.
The theme is bright colored clothing (the brighter the better!) Neon,
glowsticks, strobe lights, fog machines are all welcomed!! If you
have a favorite dance song, please request it here!!
Laurel Cyn is definately going to be an interesting intersection! I was thinking that it would good if we regrouped until everyone caught up, then crossed (with corkers) together. But let me see if that underpass is going to be open at night, if so, we can take that.
The new updated route is posted! This route takes us to 4 parking lots, 1 church, 1 college, 3 parking structures, 2 7-elevens, and 1 burgerking (for the bathrooms!)
Unfortunately, I won't be making this ride due to no one at work letting me leave.
I would've gladly pulled the stereo-trailer around without hesitation.
I was going to dispatch a "stand-in" group, but now they look up to me as the "leader", and don't want to go if I'm not going.
So, if the playlist hasn't already been compiled, may I also suggest Joan Jetts', "Do U Wanna Touch Me!?!?"
As of 10 minutes ago, the North Hollywood Subway station is closed down. From what I understand a woman tried to commit suicide on the tracks with her baby in arms. She was removed and taken away. At the same time a fire alarm went off at the Universal City station, so they stopped the train.
I was just there, as I was going to ride into the city to see a friend.
This is neither a drill or bad information.
I'm sure it'll all be sorted out in a few hours...just wanted to give you folks a heads up. I am now driving into the city.

Great Ride!! Boomchickawahaha! You sure brought me to places I would've not thought to kick it at in the valley. This was the longest 15 miles and I loved it! Great job Brian and everyone else involved. I really needed this. Can't wait for the next one!!
Thanks to all for coming out on a pretty cold night! Shit, we had a good turn out, around 150! It was nice to see people dancing, even at 7-elevens! A special thanks goes out to Eric, BigBikeDan, and Al for hooking up the tunes! How did everyone like the parking structures?? Did anyone get offended when we went to church? (A first on a Midnight Ridazz Ride!) For those you did not come, you missed out big time!

bullox! wtf happen to no rider left behind?.... for as much as i normally do these rides... this sucked my balls.... including myself 6 fricking riders were left behind and you guys were nowhere to be found. i was on the biggest fricking bike there... my wheel slipped and so my chain kept falling off= no riding... i had to push my tall bike like 3miles back to the start.... i ran in to 5 other guys who were walking cuz 1 got a flat and had no tools.... this was horrible...... and to boot i have worked as a blocker on more than 1 ride and doing so i waited forever for riders to make sure they knew where to go... the indians can vouche for than one... this is what makes it so bad... not a single one of you stoped. i had my problems infront of the pack at a red light... and you all just went around?????!?!?!?!?!?!
Sorry to hear about what happened Mr. Coffin. I've definitely seen you helping out on other rides. I've been there myself on other rides and it sucks but I just keep on truckin. Hope you still come out to other rides.

4 hours?? Damn I feel bad. I'm glad you guys made it. It was a freaking cold night.
What time did the group get back to the start? I bailed around 1a from the Galleria Parking lot because i had a training ride at 830a this morning. It didn't look like the party was anywhere near ready to finish.
Other than the temp it was a great ride. And nice not seeing the police for a change.
Had a blast. A few too many stops for my liking , but fun nonetheless.
Sorry to hear people got ditched. I ended up working on three different bikes for fallen ridazz. One major repair that looked hopeless. Spoke came loose and wrapped up in the gears like spaghetti on a fork. Ouch!
Man.. I think the ride ended up getting back around 3:30am. Speaking of training ride. Is this for the AIDS lifecycle stuff or are you in a bicycle club kinda thing? I've been wanting to do more day rides... you know.. to get back into shape.
Hey... I was the dude w/ the music when you were fixing that girls spoke. Thanks for helping out on that. Yeah... that thing looped itself like 3 times. Crazy....
Yeah, it was another ALC training ride. It was an easy Thanksgiving spin of about 28 miles on the West-side. There is usually at least one Saturday and one Sunday daytime training ride. You don't need to be a member or have registered to ride with us, but sadly, music is not allowed due to safety concerns.
Be sure to check out the ALC calendar pages (listed under the ALC thread) and come on out sometime. Nice people and the rides will be getting longer...
If anyone is looking for a part-time gig as my stand-in, let me know.
My current crew up here is on the verge of being decommissioned.
