Drivazz Crash- JANE & SEXY

While driving home from S&S last night, a driver waiting to turn left jumped the gun in front of Jane and Sexy in their vehicle which caused the head on collision. The Car is totalled.
From what i've gathered, both are bruised and shaken, but no serious injuries.

Yes our accident was pretty vicious last night. I was just glad, we where not hurt too bad. BigSexxy's face is little banged up, not as bad as she say it feels, so I guess that is better then it looking like she say it feels. She got her bruised all over her chest, and her ribs banged up. She is feeling that post accident pains all over her body right now, tho she was able to get up and move around today. The Doctor took x-rays, they where concerned about lungs being punctured, but luckily they are not. All over she is feeling all over banged around.
Harry was driving behind us and witnessed the whole thing, lucky for that. As always Harry played the Saint with the funny accent.
He kept'd a watch over us after the accident , handle things with the police, got our bikes and stuff out of Bigsexxy's car. He help me keep my composure after the accident, got us water, snacks, and took Bigsexxy to the bathroom. He then drove her over to Cedars to drop her off in the emergency room. This being that he had to be up at six to go to work. THANKS HARRY million thanks.
Then we didn't know what to do with the car, or where to tow it to.
The police weren't being a-holes at all, they where mellow. The PD had to stay until the car was out of the street, we all had no idea of what to do. So I looked at my phone contacts to see who could tell me what to do. DEE SIMPLE pops up in my contacts and i thought, he will know what to do, he has a car. I call him, sure enough, he offers his AAA, calls it in for us and drive over to get it squared away with the tow drivers.
Yes, "tow drivers" a whole slew of them, we had one coming and then another who wanted to steal the job. We eventually get the first one to come to tow it, but he can't leave the area to take it to my house, so I think Dee tried to get the ones who was trying to steal the job from the first one, and then we end up with a completely different truck that takes the car back to GH.

I'am lucky, or not so lucky it is just my foot. It felt like I sprained it last night, but as the night went on it started to hurt more and more.
After the car gets to my house at 6am, I head over to Cedars to pick up Jane, and go in and get myself examined. The doctor checked me head to toe, no aches, no pain, accept my foot. By this time the pain in my foot is getting really bad. They X-ray the foot, and sure enough a little fracture. Its not major, but it hurts bad. They wrapped it up in a splint. I have to get a cast this week. This has been hurting really bad, the doctor prescribed my oxycoden, I almost fainted in the drug store when I saw the pill bottle, thinking how people get addicted to it,. I started making Rush Limbal jokes, while feeling light head. The pharmacist eased my concern by saying it wasn't enough to get strung out on it. I told him if he is wrong, he has a customer for life. I haven't taken any yet, and the pain is easing up a little.
Luckily I had an old pair of crutches in the garage. the only problem is that they are an inch too short, the highest they go up to is 5'10" and i'm 5'11". If anybody has taller ones I can barrow I would really appreciate it.

I am bummed to hear that youall got banged up.
I bruised a rib a while back and i used a combination of arnica pills and gel to help reduce the inflammation, reduce the pain, and assist the healing process. The gel also helps with bruises.
If you guys are looking for some homeopathic healing, thats what i'd recommend.

Guys I'm so sorry but glad you are both just mildly hurt and I hope you heal quickly. You are the reason I came out that night and I hope to see you again when you are well enough to ride. Make sure Jane uses vitamin E on her face. It really helped me and I'm barely scarred.

Dave I'm glad to hear you Jane are going to be ok. It's a bit concerning to me that there's not one word concerning the other party in this accident. Are we just concerned about our own and their crutches, and f**k the other guy?

I'm glad to see someone is concerned with a complete stranger, who crashed into and caused some serious pain, with some injuries that will heal in time, causing great pain and injury, losing ones vehicle which is need to support ones self, lose of ability to work and lose of wages of people that you are to say the least, "acquaintances of", and friends and love ones to many around here of who you call your friends.
The lady who turned into us, while the light was green, was driving a very new Mercedes Benz,(it didn't even have plates on yet). After exiting Jane's vehicle, I asked her if she was alright, she replied yes, and asked for our insurance papers. She never asked about me nor Jane, who was at that time trapped in the car and in serious shock and pain.

Maybe now you should check on the "Franz is in Jail" thread to see if the police are alright after tackling Franz and see if they are not traumatized by him not getting off his bike quick enough.

Jane is still in lots of pain, but is going to be alright. My foot hurt like a mofo, but is feeling better.

aw guys that makes me so sad. i can't believe that bitch didn't bother to ask you if you were okay! some stupid woman rear ended me last year and the first thing i asked was if she was okay- even though i was pissed at her.
poor bigsexxy. i remember how my face hurt so i do feel her pain. vicodin was the only thing that helped. sexy, i hope your foot heals quickly.

this seems to be happening way too often these days. I have to say something however. I didn't want to ride crank mob last saturday because i had to wake up really early on sunday. On my way home from somewhere i saw CRANK MOB riding. I thought i was going to witness an accident because people were riding like complete idiots. Most of the time accidents are because of stupid drivers. I understand that we want to encourage bike riding but that doesn't give us a right to go on suicide missions. I think SOME people to to chill out and think about safety rather than thinking that we own the rode. I think the safest method is to ride as a group, when you have stragglers trying to catch up and running reds, this is when you can expect to be hit by a multi ton vehicle.

yo Sexies - there's an herb root called "Solomon's Seal" that helps repair things like bones, tendons, sprains, stretches, bruises and all sorts of other things... I know they sell it at this Ayerviadic herb store on the corner of SM Blvd and Fairfax (north west side of the street, not exactly on the corner)
you can make a tea with it - simmer the root for 20 or so min in a covered pot - and drink a few cups a day (it's about a teas of root per cup of water)
it will help you heal up fast and right. helped my shoulder tons a few years back...
also Epsom Salt is great in baths for bruises and soreness....

The driver that USER1 is concerned about had no insurance. Good news is Jane had uninsured motorist coverage. I don't know if anybody ever dealt with an insurance company on this situation. If you have let us know how best to deal with the company. We are trying to get compensation without having to share with an attorney.
Also, I know this isn't the spot for this but if any of you got any leads on a decent used car around $2500 or less, let us know, Bigsexxy ain't ready to kick her automobile habit. I gots to get her replacement smog machine.

I feeling better. Went to Olive View through their ER. It only took 5 hours. Most of the staff was real nice. Lots of cute girls on staff. One dickhead male nurse running the Medical Walk-In clinic. gave me and lots of the residence doctor girls grief, he was a real bummer. Everything was great at Olive View, accept him and that not so long wait (I hear it can gets really long, so I was prepared and pleasantly surprised when I was released after 5 hours.)
They had some great medical education videos in the waiting room.
The videos and the topics had me smiling, like a prepubescence boy. I received an appointment for tomorrow with a bone doctor. Hopefully I'll get the cast or whatever I need to heal, tomorrow.
Jane is still sore, but had to work today. Her brother lent her his truck to get to work. I need to get her a car, finally found the models I was looking for on Craiglist. You know, me and my spelling holding me back,at least not around here, with all of you. The insurance, OI YA! I know we are going to have to secure an attorney to get the insurance company to honor the policy.

The bone is healed, but my foot is still swollen. It hurts to walk on it, but I have to take Dad out for exercises and walk. I can walk about a mile and then I'm in extreme pain.

Since I fell in love with that bike, I searched for the exact same model. I paid $999 plus tax brand new. Because it has Ultegra group on it, the price used is $600-$800. I been searchin and finally found the same one at a reasonable start price on ebay, paid $600 total $530 plus $70 shipping. The guy advertised it as a Medium, I get it and it is a Large. He offered to make amends on it, we never worked that out yet. No big deal, I can sell it for $600 + no problem. The Top tube and seat tube are 20 and 25 cm long respectively. I have fitted to where it is pretty good to my size and sizing. I just plugged in the numbers. I just don't like being so high from the ground, it gives me less control when I go to start and stop (this is important to me) I've been holding on to the Large until I find a med or I get another. I'm considering candianne LIz Tommosso, I haven't tried it yet tho. I'm in no rush, being that I never get to ride that often anymore, I don't know when I will actually be able to ride again.
Jane tried the large and loves the STI action, it fits her pretty well, so I might hang on to it for her to use,.
I guy who fitted me will work another bike for $80, since he has done the original fitting.

Yes, I have the numbers. The fitter provided me with specs for a custom frame, if I want to have one built. That is, (top tube and seat tube measurements. The rear triangle is a whole different animal, depending on the type of ride I would want
The top tube and seat tube of the large are 20 and 25 cm LONGER respectively (not long) then the med.
The fitter suggest I try to work with those number before going back to him.
