Meet on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 10 a.m. (ride leaves at 10:30 a.m.) at 5711 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90042. We roll at 10:30 a.m.
If you don’t have a bike, we’ll let you use one of ours (free of charge). To help us limit the time waiting at the restaurant please leave a note for us below if you plan to come so we can give a heads up to the folks who run the dim sum house we will visit. L.A. River bike path on Fletcher Dr. & Ripple St. (on the North side).
We'll take the bike path towards Griffith Park...enter the park near the zoo parking...and make our way to the Golf Course Club House...where we'll take advantage of the all day $4.00 Sunday Bloody Sunday....listen to the zoo animals, watch the sun go down and roll out.
We'll ride back through the park towards Los Feliz and take Riverside back to Fletcher. The Viking Sirens will continue the party at Home Bar & Restaurant (corner of Riverside & Fletcher) or ...

Rosarito Beach to Ensenada Mexico 50 Mile Fun Ride

The world famous Rosarito Ensenada 50 Mile Fun Bicycle Ride dates back to 1979, when a few friends rode the old free road from Ensenada to Rosarito Beach and noticed that they'd ridden exactly 50 miles. The ride became an annual tradition and grew so large that in 1986 a spring ride was created to alleviate the crowds. The Rosarito Ensenada bike ride is still held each April and September.

 The People's Ride was designed for those who cannot make it to LA Critical Mass or want to continue to ride when LACM is over.
It is similar to Critical Mass in scope and ideology, but with more organization. A route will be determined and disseminated to the riders. Again this is a slower ride, not for messenger racers or speed demons, though they are encouraged to ride with us and cork intersections. The ride usually ends near the start point, close to a Metro Station or bus lines.

We will be riding 40 miles, then meeting with TWBG for the last 10 miles.
This ride will have a slightly faster pace than DC40 did last Saturday.

New meet time - 7:30 pm and ride out at 8. Currently this ride is the 2nd and 4th Wed of each month.
We've been having a great turn out for this ride. As always, come out and get your queer on! It's girrlz night at the Eagle, so stay after the
ride and have a drink.
No "skate night" for this ride, just ride over to WeHo, hit a club, and then ride back to Silverlake.
Fixies and single speeds encouraged, but bring whatever you pedal.
