The East Los Angeles Women's Center is holding their 11th Annual "Mujeres de Paz" Candlelight Vigil this Wednesday, October 22 @ 6pm. Let's ride to the vigil and show our support. Various speakers, including, for the FIRST time, victims of domestic abuse, will be sharing their experiences.
Vigil begins at the corner of Cesar Chavez Blvd & Mednik Ave, in front of the La Virgen de Guadalupe.

Griffith Park - Chevy Chase - La Tuna Sunday 8am

 Meet Sunday 8am Griffith Park. Roll out 8:10 head up Los Feliz to Chevy Chase. Re-group at top of Chevy Chase, continue up to Foothill, down Sunland and then climb La Tuna. Re-group at top of La Tuna. Head down to Montose for coffee and back to the park.
38 miles, 2000+ feet climbing.

Wheel Women Bike Ride

 Dorothy Le, siteLA resident and bicycle activist, hosts another exciting bike ride tour of the Silver Lake/Echo Park area. This ride, appropriately titled “Wheel Women”, will focus on the the fantastic imprint that women have made in the Los Angeles biking community. Several special guests will be joining the ride as well.
Ride will start and end at siteLA, 2522 Sunset Blvd, on October 19 from 4-6pm and be followed by a casual discussion of the women’s cycling culture here in Los Angeles as well as complimentary refreshments.
