Make it Happen!
Talk to Super Fish. If he reads this in time. He lives up there.
Use our Calendar to post the ride. Put a link to it on the SFCM sites and any other Bike related SF sites. Put up some fliers maybe. You can do it!

You might want to check on myspace for the SF Ridazz. Not that their page is up to date, methinks. Have fun up there!

Hey, user Soultrain moved up there recently. My Brandon (who lives up there but was introduced to cycling through MR down here several months ago) rides around SF with him all the time in the spirit of MR so if you wanted to go for a ride, either of them would be thrilled to.

I'm moving up there in August and MR is one of the main things I am going to miss about LA. So, if you don't make it happen up there I sure will.

Yo who is looking for a SF biking buddy? "UndercoverBob's Brandon" and I ride all the time up here. My contact info is under myprofile so hit me up via instant messanger or Email. All fun loving Bay Area rides are welcome to join us. We are looking at means to get the word out to create a MRSF group even if it is pale in comparison. Just a posse of folks to ride with would be awesome!

MikeBikeMike is up there too. I don't have his number, but I could get it. He was westside but did many other rides.

ZOMG C.R.A.N.K. MOB SF 7/5. Did I know about this??! I don't think I did.
I'm going to be in SF on July 5th. I'm going to be in SF WITH MY BIKE on July 5th. It was already in my plans.
This is retardedly good. I'll miss you gaise on the 4th, though.

C.R.A.N.K. MOB SF!
I'll be up there on the 5th, too, very likely with my bike.
Any more info on when, where and whether this is happening, Kieron?

Forecast now calls for an 85% chance of my bike and I in SF next weekend.
Has anyone seen any movement on the C.R.A.N.K. MOB doppler radar?

I might be heading to SF this coming weekend as well. Was thinking about maybe just posting a ride for saturday night in the mission. I know a lot of people might not show up cause they don't read MR but it looks like theres enough people for a fun ass ride just in this thread. Also I know at least one guy in Oakland who would come out and ride with us.
LETS DO IT.

I'm takin' a bus. I'll send you the link (private company). It's ~$50, leaves 7.3.08 at midnight from Santa Monica, and you can stow your bike in the storage area underneath.
katiepoche06.29.08 - 10:17 pm

Correction: it leaves EVERY NIGHT at ~midnight from Santa Monica, and there's a bus that leaves in the morning too = 2x/day. I'm leaving the 3rd in the night time.
Because I'm a midnight bus rida.

Katie, how long does the bus take? I was planning on taking the Amtrak ($48 and allegedly 9 hours each way), but I'm guessing a bus is more reliable.
Of course, a ride with Matt would probably be faster, cheaper
and more entertaining, but royalacademy's got dibs now.

First start by not calling San Francisco, Frisco. Natives don't seem to like it. The City, San Fran are better options.

NO>
The only acceptable terms to use in referring to the city of San Francisco are The City, and San Francisco.
Frisco is out.
San Fran is out.
San Fernisco is in, conditionally. If you can name the movie from which that name came, then you can use it.

I'm gonna start working on a flyer tomorrow that we can post around town a few days before the ride. Any suggestions or submissions for a flyer are welcome.
Also I have been trying to figure out what web forums are good to post this on so we can get the word out to the SF ridazz... of which there are many
I checked out the Sf ridazz myspace page but it looks like it hasn't seen any traffic lately and they don't reply to friend requests.
Does anyone know of any popular bike sites for the bay area?
