How come I don't see any talk or posting re the Ride-Arc ride taking place tonight? Does this website not discuss their rides?

Midnight Ridazz loves Ride-Arc. but I think Alex is still broken down from his crash. Check the www.ridearc.org site though just in case...

Ridearc.org says they are leaving at 9pm sharp from Olvera square tonite.
- No booze
- No music
- No pissing in public
Alex makes a huge effort to get access to places that would normally:
- Charge money for public tours
- Would never be open this late at night.
I don't know where the ride is going but since Dracula and hills are mentioned I'll venture a guess it may go as far as the Altadena cemetery.

Any suggestions how single female rider gets back to her car @ Union Station?

Ride-Arc just happens to go on when I'm between Busted Nutz, NV, and One Tooth Hill, UT.
I was wanting to get some apparation shots as well.
I did however notice there was snow in the Sierra's today.
70 degrees where y'all are at and I'm already gagging from this 32 degree freak temp.
Oh, now back to GRider's question.
How exactly does a single female rider get back to Union Station?

Hey rubber ducky,
Do you have your lap top open while you are driving?

When do I not have it open?
This thing follows me like the DA follows deadbeat dads.
Oh, I'm stopped for the night BTW.

I told CL and Veronica I was going to go.
Why would some one as demonic as me want to miss out on being in a cemetery in the middle of the night legally?
Unfortunately I had some things go wrong at home, so I needed to take care of that first.
Next time guys, I promise!

Rubber dDucky
so once those things are rolling, is it that easy and predictable to drive? or is the truth in the 17th episode of The Simpson's "Maximum Homedrive"

Depends on how well you've got the 10 speed arrangement down.
I actually shift and drive this truck better than an automatic car.
I essentially one-hand the wheel while I type and do other shit with my other.
The only time I would want the "Homerdrive" to come into play is backing into a blind dock.
Now if that's not a pain in the ass, I don't know what is.
Next on the agenda, "Eating JackInTheBox tacos and applying sauce whilst manuevering the US97 through Oregon, during logging season when all the log trucks are chasing your dry '53 down the road".
No wonder Hellway is and always will be a breeze for me.

Too late for tonight, but for future reference:
In situations like this where the end point of the ride is not the start point, there are almost always groups of people who will be riding back to the start after the ride is over. Ask loudly whether anybody is riding back to Union Station (or wherever), and then buddy up with some of the people who answer.
Better yet, get to the start point a little early and take note of people who pull up in cars. You know that these people will have to come back there when it's over, so buddy up with some of them right at the outset. Just explain your situation and 999 out of a thousand people will be cool and help you out.

Great ride, I enjoyed it. There were a couple of groups that went back to Union Station. At the end of the ride, peeps going to Echo Park got in one group. Another group to Korea Town and our group back to Union Station / Olvera Street.
I saw a couple of people brought GPS with them just in case. Thanks Al and Brad for leading us back to Olvera Street after the ride.

Awesome ride Alex! Great job on putting this ride together. The two cemeteries we went through were unforgettable. Nice pulling the strings to be able to ride where one wanted to in these cemeteries too. Shows you have a responsible group on these rides. My favorite stop was the last cemetery, I'll have to go back in the day time sometime.
Thanks for all your hard work and I look forward to doing it again next month!

I also participated on Friday night. Had a wonderful time including the much-needed nourishment avail at the taco stand. And better yet, $1 tacos. They were SUPER fresh and TASTY. Also, thanks for the advice on how to find a buddy to ride back with. This is only my third ride so far and I am so very happy to have these types of activities to particpate in. Love and Nurture!!
I cut out at 12:30 am. What time was the ride over?

Great ride as always, it was a nice remix of last October's ride. Too bad we didn't get to visit the coroner though!

Anyone...............
For those that may not know, this couple went down at the bottom of a hill on a somewhat rough road. Their forks failed on them. The ambulance had to take them away too.

I spoke to Skull on Saturday; Marcus was home, kinda banged up, had some surgery on his face, it looks like they were able to save his teeth.
I'll post more info when I have it.

I've heard that pure aloe vera, just straight from the plant, is a virtual miracle for healing the skin. My friends sister went over the handle bars on a scooter. Her face was just pitted w/asphalt. They continuously applied the aloe vera to her face and say there are no scars at all. Maybe this info will be helpful. Hope you're doing well.
