Splitting the Map.

I was just having some fun with the Google Maps and decided to create this little thing.
Essentially, it just represents the core areas many of the ridazz engage the public.
See how you could change my representation.
All in good fun!!

What do you mean ridazz engaging the public? Do you you mean MR? Bicycle advocacy is nothing new, it has been around as long as the bike. Several people have been doing these for years but didn't get the exposure. Their work built the foundation for many.
The only thing making a resurgence is urban riding and MR style rides but they don't necessarily engage the public. I don't understand what are you trying to map.

As is the norm around here, instead of speaking what the thread is about, I'm going to ask you to do something in my interest (or talk about something in my interest)
Why not create a map between the LACM starting point and VCM-rnc starting point, and see where they could possibly meet?
I'm not going to either one tonight, see I'm that selfish.

Thanks Sexy for acting as the forum police. Let me rephrase by writing my topic sentence first.
What are you trying to map? I don't understand? What do you mean engage?
Is that better?

The whole map should be highlighted since there are riders everywhere engaging the public.

Yeah no kidding failure +2!!
And who the fuck lives in Victorville? Man if there was ever a hick sounding name, Victorville's got it hands down!!! Sounds like some old little sleepy town down in the south of Mississippi! LOL

I never even heard of Victorville!! Are you sure this isn't some joke?

hi bentstrider. neat map there.
hey nit picky douchebags, those are some good suggestions. way to catch yourself on the reactionary aggression. it seems to me that bentstrider, being geographically isolated from most MR happenings out there in the desert, and yet connected to MR personalities via internet, feels compelled to understand the disconnect by creating an actual map of it.
huh?

I just clicked on the map, that funny stuff.
I only person I was policing was myself. You do as you please and let your Chaotic tendencies run wild.

@malo lado
That was what I subconsciously had in mind.
Being it was also 8AM, I was also just off of work and 3/4 asleep.
Perhaps I should've also described this map as, "Where the ridazz I met usually congregate."
I know handfuls of Cubz, Cruzer's, and pretty much all of the Juggernauts.
Only reason I didn't include any other regions was due to the simple fact that I have yet to venture into those areas with two wheels yet.
So, if this map was interpreted by me in some wrong way, PULL YO'SELVES TOGETHA!!!
I never intended for this map to be taken all that seriously.
Shhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey this is pretty cool bentsrider all in the name of bicycle love. this shit right here is a new type of bicycle riding and bicycle riders.... commuter party urban group rides. it's like having a party and inviting everyone and not having to vacuum the next morning

@roadblock.
Damned skippy!!
These are the rides where you get to choose a riding style, and keep the party going.
The fast and slow ones of the MR-caliber all have that positivity streaming from them that keeps me from sinking into the ground.
A few years ago, I would've considered a traditional roadie group, but all the ones I've encountered usually have the same personality as I.
It's nice to get out there and spike that energy drink/bar every week.
Ripping a quote from some Sirius-comedy show, I don't want to end up being the one "that misses everything cool and then die angry".

Dude, I was joking around about Victorville. Geezzz looks like I'm going to have to put on a disclaimer on my posts from now, is that what you want?
Speaking of mapping and personal tracking info, just like alot of things it could be used for good purposes or something far worst. I went to this lecture regarding local pollution. In LA there's something ridiculous like five monitors for all of the LA basin. This team is working on having monitors on cellphones and by passing the whole government responsibility thing.
