The one thing that bugs me most about this site, is how Core Elite it can get. The webmaster just decides when he can't or can not take something down, because he/she decides this is not working out. what about all the photos in the top slots that have been up there for so long. how many times has Sorensons photo been in top, twice? the site is already rigged by a bunch of other people. its virtually impossible to get a photo on the top slot and isnt fun anymore.

yeah I'm going to eventually fix the voting system so people cant hack it, and maybe it was harsh to just delete, but there was a couple of things that led to the decision. first, the SAME photo was posted in 4 or 5 categories with no "hey sorry about that can you switch it over" so I assume it was intended as such and not a mistake. then it was vote hacked, then I reset the vote hack (like i did on MY own photo that Borfo posted) THEN it was vote hacked AGAIN. so, hey, I dont have the fucking time to deal with it. so GET OVER IT

i think its fair to tell everyone how they can even vote for photos on midnight ridazz, you need a gazillion 5's to even get it in the top slot.
what is there to get over? i think its important for people to know that the photos are rigged.
also you could of just left it up there. its so obvious that all the photos in the top slots are vote rigged. Sorensons was up there for literally 20 seconds before it was deleted.

Personally I thought the pic looked lame. The pic was dull and uninteresting. It almost looked like a mug shoot. The only time I find mug shoots interesting is if it's Britney Spears or some train wreak like that.
RB has his hand full keeping this site going. IMHO he's doing a damn good job of it. With that said, it would be nice to see a folder of what has been deleted, at least of stuff that isn't slanderous. It would be great to see the voting thingy fixed too. pacino posted the same 5 flicks of sorenson in a bunch of diff categories I guess cause she thought it was funny, I spent 10 min deleting (annoying but no biggie), I was in there last night deletgin all the hack votes on borfo's photo of me (rotw) so it would dissappear from the front page and be something else. pacinos photo then replaced mine as most hacked and wishing to have BBD back I deleted the hack votes on pacinos photo... then this morning i saw pacinos photo was agina hack voted to the top and in a fit of annoyance because I took it the wrong way and mainly anger about another issue I deleted the photo which was harsh in retrospect considering that doing so got me compared to the SMPD and admittedly the vote system is silly and fun and hack-able so who cares my bad for caring.... now this is where we at.

Yes Dee it is for real. Someone figured out how to 'hack' the voting then called foul when it was deleted/corrected.
The funny thing is the photo is of Brandt-Sorenson, who is arguably probably one of the fastest riders around. I know of him from this site primarily from the Alley Cat controversy. And I know him from the roadie world since he perform really well at my club's race, SDSR. But I wouldn't vote for a photo of him in any category and I don't of many that would.

Yes the lady in the picture is most definitely dead. If she were alive she would be ~130 years old. The picture is from a New Jersey photo studio from 1897. It was lifted from David V. Herlihy's book "Bicycle:The History" published in 2004 by the Yale University Press. It's an excellent book with many many little known 19th century illustrations especially of women cyclists. I just received this book as a Xmas present and it's wonderful.
As for the particular photo... it shows a lady on a bicycle holding a glass of wine from a century ago. Of course drinking and riding is what Midnight Ridazz do too so I thought this was an important picture to show historical continuity . As for the bare chest... it pays tribute to this week's film festival and I think it's in much better taste than some of the other xrated pictures posted here. The raising of the glass as if toasting is appropriate for the holiday season.
And yes, since you asked, I do have a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a Masters in Arts Administration.

there is something about being in a completely 'foreign' city that compels you to get out of the house every day. in paris, it was about 40-50 degrees during the day and 35 in the evening, and for some strange reason, it just didn't seem as cold.
