Bikesdirect.com - new brand x bikes with the same frames as a lot of much more expensive product.
Bikeisland.com - awesome deals on new parts.
(Bikeisland and bikesdirect are both internet offshoots of Spectrum Cycles, a Texas bike store chain.)
Pricepoint.com - cheap parts / tools.

Anybody have any additional suggestions as to where to get good deals on bikes and bike parts?

I tried my LBS today, only to have them explain that they sold "BETTER" bikes, which is why they couldn't match the online prices. Because, as we all know, more expensive = better.

I'd love to shop locally, but I hate being treated like an idiot. (The jackass at the local bike shop explained that I couldn't get good service from an internet retailer. As if good customer service starts by overcharging the customer.)

If anybody knows of additional online / local shops that offer kick-ass deals, post them up here.

Correction - Bikeisland and Bikesdirect are both owned by Cycle Spectrum, Spectrum Cycles is a custom framebuilder.
