Iz uR inTerWebz Slow?

I had to have the cable company come out two times now because of slow service. The first time the guy changed out the lines and the modem. This 2nd time the guy admitted to me that everybody is having this problem and that it is system wide. He tells me, it is going to cost lots of money to put up a new system. It is going to be about a year before they do. He told me the system is overloaded and clogged. He ask me what time does it slow up at? I said "10pm-1:30am", he told me it the same with everybody else. Everybody is at home watching tv, downloading movies, playing games, cruising the web etc.
So I ask a friend who has a different service and she, said yeah, she has been problems around the same times.
She tells today she came back from a clients house who has a different cable service, in a different part of the city and her service was all wacked out.

DSL is the way to go but itll costcha..

Cable is usually faster then dsl. My friend has dsl.
But ya didn't answer the question.
Are you slow?scratch that, I mean iIs your internet connection slowing up?

Everyone know it is a left wing conspiracy to slow down the internet. Truthers, Birthers and Baggers are using the internet to indoctrinate people into their cult. The left wing will not stand for that dude.

Always the expert.
I have DSL and I never have speed problems.
The scenario you described where the neighborhood soaks up all the bandwidth only happens with cable internet.
