If you don't like a ride, don't go.
XL and Cesar and crew try hard to make it a decent ride, it's not their fault that it's gotten popular and attracted a few of the idiots that ruin every ride that gets big.
Whining that an MR ride suffers from drunken assholes and careless people having their unlocked bikes stolen is like complaining that ice is cold or fire is hot.

TACO FUCKING TUESDAYS is hands-down one the most awesome rides in L.A. It's is most certainly the best weekly ride....wish I could make it every week, but girl needs some zzz's too. Anywho, quit shit talking about TACO FUCKING TUESDAYS. XL & Cesar are awesome, as are the core TT crew...hope things turn around soon.

One of the most awesome weekly rides, if not the best! XL and Cesar always brings a great ride. It's some of the ridazz that come to it that's the problem. And it's the ridazz that like the ride to step up and keep it going strong. These are the ridazz that are disappointing. XL & Cesar can't be doing everything. They need others to step up.

Why is nobody regulating these few ass holes that ruin rides?
If it is just a few people then why hasn't people step to them and take care of it?
I really don't know why and what this is about. I can barely make it out to rides these days.

I don't make it out to the west side often enough, but TT is one of the best organized rides I have heard about. MR like society in general has it's bad apples. I know TT has tried to address issues in the past to try to keep it within the spirit of MR. I applaud XL and crew for putting on a good ride. The question is how can ALL rides get rid of the bad apples?

That's a tough one unless you are ok with shedding numbers and moving the ride info to email list only.

Spankings with either a wet tube like someone suggested, or a sawed-off paddle of some sort would do the trick.
Or rounding up the offenders and handcuffing them buttnaked to some streetlights on a major thoroughfare.
I'm taking a major step in another direction and putting the guns back in the safe.
It's time to use tried and true methods of public humiliation and embarrassment to knock the knuckleheads off their high-horses and expose them for the mule-jockeys they truly are.

I've just been sitting up here feeling bored and useless, it helps if I could at least cough up one positive thing in light of all the shit that's been going down.

TT's grown. but the heart of its ride still exists. and like anywhere now... you must not leave your personal belongings unattended or your bike unlocked.
tickets come and tickets go ... look at how much we get away with anyway....
i was there in the beginning, like #4... i've seen it grown and though it seems to be lurking near young c.r.a.n.k. mob numbers, the heart of its ride, the regulars that keep coming back week in and week out, keep the spirit alive.

I agree, I'm getting a bit tired of everyone complaining about rides. It's a hard thankless job to throw rides for you jerks. XL + Cesar + Bond bring the fun weekly (music, spoke cards, a route, keeping the group together) - yes shit happened but that's just a part of life. Show some fucking respect and think about what you write on the boards before posting it. Be the change you wish to see in this community. If you think you can throw a better ride then please by all means do so. We'll all show up, support you and ride - till then set a good example and support your fellow riders. Stop tearing down the community it's not cool.

It doesn't sound like anybody is knocking the ride, just the bad apples that wreck it for everyone.
I'm sure this has been talked about ad nauem so I'm sorry for bringing it up.
For the few rides I have been to recently, exclusivity doesn't sound like a bad idea.
Seems like it is working for one westside ride.

I've only been on a TT ride once (should be more). But man... I remember when I first met Scott, Cesar, and Rich and thought.... "Man... these are good people!" And till now... respect what they've put together for our community. For me... meeting them on Pier Pressure and hearing of the plans for a weekly ride... to the 3BBB's... and now Taco Tuesdays... thee originators with their purpose... Much props to you guys. I don't know if he still does it but man... freaking Cesar carried two batteries to power the tunes on his back!! Man... that's heavy!!!! Much respect to you guys and Taco Tuesdays!!

fire is hot!i love that it cooks my food and keeps me warm in the winter, but when you get burned that shit sucks! (although it does help to talk about it.) i got burned once, and i was like "fuck fire! im not messing around with this shit anymore!" and so i told the gas company to shove it and went on a raw food diet. it didnt last very long though. i went back to fire when i started pooping sprouts.
and that's exactly how i feel about M.R.
