I was threatend with the calling of who knows which one of the 5 types of Italian Polizei when I went to hostel I had stayed the week before at to check my email.
When I checked my email anyway sitting outside of the hostel with my stolen password it turns out my three traffic tickets in 1.5 months ended up being 1,100 dollars. Please someone in power explain to me how our justice system works, and how that could possibly be justified. on second thought lets be impotently angry instead.
If I'm able to get my bike back, I need to go to Rome for the start of the bff, yet I still don't have a place to stay. I'm not worried to much about this as I became an expert at finding places to sleep while in LA, I'm sure I'll manage, or be stabbed to death or freeze for a few nights, It builds character, as Calvin's father often said.
Spirits are high, I think I'll need a psychologist to explain to me why that is, nevermind, I remember it was the good 4 euro bottle of Chianti I just had.

Hostel recepitionist bitches,literally running from the cops, waking up to find out i'd switched trians w/out my camera,but thanking god i still had the rest of my belonging,,finding places to sleep cuz of funds or hostel bootings,,it sure does build charater , character that only you yourself can smile about and think "ya i did that "and here i 'am.,,thats right live it out w/ or w/ out ur girl=bike. i did my girlfriend of 2 and half years dumped me, on our second day in europe.heart broken but well spirited i still stayed another 45 days ,,hehheh
only advice my man is try to be sober aleast 36 hours prior to bff. just so that you can really remember it.keep us posted and remember they come and go.
All my things were recovered, nothing missing! I got into Rome at about 2am and went to the ciclonauti bike co-op but everyone had gone home. I tried sleeping on the steps for a few hours but, got too cold. I found someone to stay with last night but apparently forgot to ask for more details, such as "Where do you live".
BFF roma is much different, than LA. I'll report more on it when the festival comes to an end.!.!
A quick tip while you're in Europe. You can go to practically any university there and get a good meal pretty cheap. That's right, they serve good food at the cafeteria! Also if you have a CA drivers license, you can used that for student ID. Now obviously it's not a student ID, but they don't know it. They serve all students was my experience. As you get more confident in convincing people of this, you can expand this and use it for other things. You may find student discounts for other items. If you don't have a CA license, try something else. Alot of time it matters on the delivery rather than the goods if you know what I mean.
